You are forgetting the expiring contracts on the current roster like Temple/Boucher/Fernando/Brown

Boucher & Fernando won't be back, temple will be the last roster spot if he's needed again, maybe browns back on an MLE type money deal

Fernando and Temple will be gone without replacement. There is a chance that Boucher and or Brown trade might bring bodies back. Then we need room for Battle. If said bodies have an upside they may not be waived.

No team will be 100 percent healthy during the NBA season you play with what you have....Just the Pelicans have been even more banged up than us to the point they have to piece together a whole G-League roster....We had NBA level talent on our team all year so far...Pelicans not so much...

The Pelicans 100 percent healthy vs us 100 percent healthy Pelicans are better anyways....So we will see how things shape up if Pelicans/Sixers start winning ball games..

They weren’t putting out a g league lineup lol. Their entire rotations sans Payton is a full time member of their team. If you’re calling them G-League then so is Shead, Mogbo, Battle, etc.

At this point, he's been a player enough that he probably garners enough respect. It's just if Temple agrees.

Isn’t Temple a part of the players union? Doesn’t he need to be a player to be part of the executive for the union?

Different unions have different membership structures. But many unions consider elected executives to be members in good standing for the duration of their executive terms. Not sure about the NBAPA though.
