GT #17: Clippers @ Bullets 7 PM (MonSportsNet/980 AM)

Post#1 » by FAH1223 » Wed Nov 27, 2024 10:14 am

YOUR Washington Bullets are 2-14!

Tank continues!

What is there to say? The losing will continue as the 11-8 LA Clippers are in town coming off a loss against the defending NBA Champion Celtics. No Kawhi Leonard but LAC is lead by former MVP James Harden who has kept the ship steady. Norman Powell has the ultimate green light and has stepped up his scoring with Paul George's departure to Philadelphia. LAC also has stout perimeter defenders in Mann, Dunn, and Jones which will be a challenge for the young Bullets.

So painful to watch in general. How much longer do we give the DSW ( Dawkins, Schlenk,Winger) front office to turn things around ?

I'm not saying Sarr will never be able to rebound or I'm discouraged--I still like the pick. But there's so much pain to go with the promise.

Poole is back . . . last year's Poole. 1 for 7, 2 assists to 6 turnovers.

Kuzma injured. I'm a believer in moving Kuzma but hate to see anyone hurt and he comes across as a good guy and a hard worker, just with a Kobe belief in his shot selection.

Poole was injured and missed a game.

Brogdon with a nice game, hopefully we can ship him off soon. Not liking Carrington on the bench too much

Bilal has suddenly regressed on offense.

Be nice to win a game every couple of weeks wouldn't it? :)

This game, however, was never going to be an example thereof.

What do you mean by "turn things around?" Get back to the Ernie days?

If what you want instead is a winner, a team that competes for a title, then get ready to wait a long time.

Oh, & definitely support this FO, which hasn't made a false move yet, as far as I can tell.

Only bad move they've made is not trading Kuzma, it was a gamble that we'd get a better return later, maybe at this trade deadline, but so far it looks like his stock is dropping.

I was at the game

The team generates a lot of open shots. But teams do not respect the ability to shoot the 3, of course.

I don't know why Bilal isn't being aggressive.

Sarr needs to take it to the basket more. He's also open on the roll a lot.

I liked the competitiveness of George and Carrington in the face of James Harden.

Brogdon and Jonas will garner calls from other teams.

And Poole had his worst game of the season. Dunn was a menace on defense.

Yes, I must agree -- it was a bad decision not to trade Kuz to Dallas.
