Between him, IQ and Gradey, they all compliment Scottie so damn well.

Yep he was consensus top 10 lotto heading into his freshman season. Props to the Raptors FO for not taking their eye off of him and sending scouts not just to Baylor games, but his HS games too. This composite had him at 9, some specific sources had higher, some lower:

The talent is definitely there, just need to unlock it.

He came into the college season as a top 5 pick on some boards. He just kept on steadily dropping over the year though.

Hes 6'4" with a 6'10" wingspan, looks like he has lightning fast change of direction with great lateral quickness, I get why they loved him

He is 6'7 with a 6'10 wingspan. He is not a PG, don't think he has the passing.

He isn't 6'7. He's 6'5 at best.

Mogbo is 6'6.25 without shoe, and NBA measurement round them up to 6'8 (6'9 official).
Walter is 6'4.25 without shoe, and NBA measurement round them up to 6'6, and he would be closer to 6'7

With change to only measure barefoot it is better to stop giving people the 1.5 inch boost from shoes.

Call Mogbo 6'7 and Walter 6'5 and you are being realistic. At best you give them 6'8 and 6'6 but that is foo foo numbers.

He looks 6’5 on a good day. 6’4 n half is probably his height.

RJ is 6’7 and he looks much taller than Jakobe.

Exact height aside, I thought he looked surprisingly big on an NBA court. But it's not like that Pelicans lineup had a lot of size.

Saying he's 6'4" when his listed height says 6'4.25" is not incorrect. "Rounding up" from that to 6'7" is. It's semantics at the end of the day lol

It's not semantics at all. The guy is 6'4.25 without shoes. What shoes are adding almost 3 inches of height? 1970s platforms? Timberland boots? If I'm 5'9.25 and I put on some shoes now I can say I'm 6' tall? C'mon dog.

Seems like that is how NBA define their heights from start, maybe they are changing to bare foot, who knows.

I know people don't like comparisons but I find them fun and I'm seeing some Bradley Beal potential in his game

I like the change of pace and vision I saw from him. His defense looked solid as well. Played within himself other than the sloppy pass to Poeltl, where he does steal it back mind you, however the follow up pass to Ochai could have been another TOV. Seems to make the right play the rest of the game.

Did not expect a height debate overtaking this discussion when entering this thread.

Where is 6'7 coming from, you don't have to guess, he literally measured 6' 4.25'' at the draft combine

Pretty sure they have the same standing reach, so they may as well be the same height.
