Egor needs to draw more fouls and hit at a better rate before I put him top 3.

He might be the best passer in the country and the pull up shooting talent is very real.

I haven't watched him enough, so I'm still uneducated regarding his ability to create for himself off the dribble since it seems like his bread and butter is the P&R game.

Also finishing at the rim and through contact.

Still looks like a clear high end prospect though, could be convinced he's my next fav after Flagg/Harper.

I think I could be convinced Dylan Harper is the best player in the draft. Shades of SGA there.

Great pass. He’s IQ is advanced for his age. But he’s too right hand dominant similar to how Ricky Rubio was back then. When he drives with his left, it’s often going to be a drop pass.

He and Tre Johnson are certainly the most confident scorers in the class.

That's the Jokic/Luka™ skip pass and it almost always finds a wide open shooter or someone in advantageous cutting position. The ball watching defenders instinctively gravitate to the rolling big.

6'9 Haliburton that can wreak havoc defensively.

A top three pick in this class would change my life.

Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards

Cooper/Egor/Harper top 3?

Those are my big three concrete prospects that I like as of today.

There's an Illinois duo of Jakucionis and Will Riley that have very transferable skill sets as well.

Harper feels like a Paul Pierce type player. There are a few statistical marks I’d like him to hit, but he’s #2 at the moment for me.

I tell you what, any pick 1-6 would do wonders for us this year. It needs to happen.

My gut feel is Cooper Flagg is going to land with the Washington Wizards.

If that's the case, I would hope they would move Kuzma on draft night.

Ace might be my #1 right now. He just looks different than other prospects. Moves like Jordan/Wilkins.

Moves down my board.

Synergy data re: Half Court Rim Frequency numbers so far this early season between some of the top prospects now and in the recent past

Bailey (and Riley) fall into that perilous category of not being able to get all the way to the rim, which is just a massive red mark for projecting high end wing portability.

If you draft Ace, then it should be under the pretense that he's a massive project that excels athletically and can shoot the ball, but with major question marks about how good he actually he is the sport of basketball. The assist numbers further that point.

No Maluach hypefest? @76ci

You're usually big on the C prospects

--

Other than Flagg/Harper

Demin/Edgecomb/Kasparas/Knueppel/Maluach intrigue me

I’ve adjusted my approach to evaluating players since 2021. My focus now is on offense, specifically shooting, scoring, and how well players fit the modern positional ideal.

By the way, if there’s ever a “Jordan” model prototype, Edgecombe might be the closest with his athleticism and motor. I think he’s more Jimmy Butler or Westbrook.

When it comes to bigs, Im high on Derik Queen. He’s fourth on my list now.

1- Flagg
2- Demin
3- Kasparas
4- Queen
5- Edgecombe

Yeah people love using the absolute best case scenario / prospect's ceiling to make a comparison. They should instead use the far more realistic/likely outcome. So instead of comparing Demin to Doncic, they should use Deni Avdija / Josh Giddey as comps.
