I’m done for now. This site has so many crazy pop ups on the iphone and iOS. Unusable. Been a good 20y. I’ll check back in a month.

This has been reported and should be eliminated shortly. My apologies for these unacceptable issues.

The site loads really slow (Netherlands). It does show the content, but then, when you want to start typing a reply, or want to click a button, there's a huge lag, and sometimes you end up tapping the wrong button. When clicking and wanting to start typing in the reply prompt there's just a short annoying lag which makes you miss half of what you started typing. It's rather recent. I think it's due to the amount of ads loading.

Just this very page (viewtopic.php?f=40&t=1253356&start=680) for example has 33(!!) image requests, and the content type is 30% forums.realgm.com, while adthrive.com and doubleclick, the ad providers take up over 40% of the content loaded. I think, but I'm not sure, that adthrive.com is the main culprit.

I can't believe how slow the site is, especially on mobile. I wonder if that is contributing to the boards not being anywhere near as active as they used to be. I think the boards might have been faster when I joined in 2002.

Once again my virus checker goes wild every time I log onto real GM. It dislikes the pfishing programs.

I’m getting bad ads today. This is in iphone safari. Popups with the “youve been hacked” FUD and links to scam app in app store.

Please take care of this latest, borderline virus/scam pop-up. It takes you to a scam site too (clicked it accidentally), the browser won't even load the website, luckily, it gives you an instant warning. Again, for the millionth of time, the owner of the site, do a Patreon or even a 5 bucks monthly subscription with certain advantages, and we will pay for it. These ads are ridiculous, stop it please.

I realized that I can't send any private messages although I am registered on here for quite some time. Is the pm feature disabled for all or for just me? Is it because of my low number of posts? If so what do I need to do in order to get the access?

I'm getting a browser hijack on my mobile device. It's redirecting to trojan wall dot com. I can post a screenshot if that helps. I'm able to back out of the site, it doesn't completely take over the browser.

It seems this has happened one or two other times on realgm.com over the years, maybe on a desktop too, not sure. Just curious if anyone else is having this problem? I use an antivirus app, so wondering if my phone is infected even though the app says it's not.

I looked at why no padlock dot com, and tested realgm.com with it. It looks like you all have "mixed content', which is pretty easy to fix. I believe mixed content can make your site vulnerable.

Just echoing that I am seeing the same on safari/iphone. Everything updated, etc.
