Knew I saw him come up gimpy on that last play. The terrible in bounds decision to Cody sure paid dividends. Really hope this is just a one game thing and not something that overlaps with when the others come back.

Time to give Melo some rest and make sure his calf is fully healed. We’re not going on any winning streaks until Miles and our centers return. No need to take chances with the franchise.

Diagnosed with a left calf strain, will be reevaluated in 2 weeks per Hornets few minutes ago.

So he probably misses the next five games. There's a two-week break in the middle of December for the mid-season tournament so that actually works out well for our injuries. Maybe we can Target getting everyone healthy and back on the floor for that first game back from the two weeks off which is December 19th.

Call me crazy, but Melo having a leg injury that isn't an ankle and that doesn't require surgery is encouraging to me. Hoping he can get hurt and for it not to require him to miss most of a season for a change.
