It's not early, it's the trap of playing a smaller team and trying to post that team up. This happened against the Cavs too, they kept going to the Bridges on Garland post up and eventually the Cavs squashed that and our offense cratered.

Post ups slow the game down and KAT is not an elite post player, neither is Bridges, it mucks up your offense.

I don't know how to say it, but modern NBA coaches focus on a system that looks to create scoring opportunities systematically, while the Thibs offense boils down to, "go make a shot".

This is entirely about coaching style.

It's ridiculous at this point, we don't switch on defense when every team does, and our offense doesn't really have a plan or any structure. The caveman sees a smaller team because their C is small and immediately abandons the ball movement that got 145pts, and starts running post ups even though that team has size at every position other than C.
