You do not play guys as much as he does in the modern NBA, it's asking for trouble to come over and make you a full course meal of trouble.

What's insane is that the organization saw thibs do this last year and is letting him do it again this year. AND extended him for 3 years.

Well, Hart is sticking by Mikal, which is good but I think his minutes needs to come down. That might help.

Kind of explains the Hornets tenacity too.

It's why we should have used our bench more. They would've got up for this game a lot more than what Mikal Bridges was doing out there, just throwing away possessions and playing with zero intensity on D.

Dadiet and Payne could have used minutes.

Bridges is playing 38mpg. Hart 37. OG 37.

There has to be a way to cut at least 4 to 5 minutes from all 3.

Precious return will carve out at least a few minutes.

Kolek was sick. I kinda wonder if some of these dudes don’t have covid or something. Like seriously the energy level doesn’t look the same and their feet are glued to the floor

Bridges got benched and still played 36 minutes, people need to think about how insane that actually is. If he were having even a half decent game he was going to play 44 minutes.

The Hornets played 10, they are missing LaMelo, Richards, Williams and Mann, 2 starters and their 6th man and still went 10 deep. The Mavs played 10, we played 8. Two teams dealing with multiple injuries to starters and rotational players still going with more guys than us.

If you can only win games by playing your guys obscene amount of minutes, it's fair to say you're not a great coach.

The Hornets, down SIX ROTATIONAL PLAYERS, played 10 players at least 10 minutes in today's game!

The Cavs have 10 players AVERAGING at least 19 minutes per game.

The idea that Thibs' lack of minutes distribution is due to injury, talent, or anything other than his own maniacal preference is either regurgitated propaganda or just pure gaslighting.

While KAT and JB had decent numbers, it was Deuce and Hart with a little assist from Payne that got them the win.

Bridges is completely checked out. Has zero concentration. His passing is turble. He needs to take the Walk of Shame for that inbounds pass to end the first half.

Start Deuce, Bench Bridges.

Legit question: Has Mikal been more disappointing on offense or defense? (you have to pick only one)

Mikal doesn’t even put the effort in to be tired after 40 minutes. Everything he does is lazy and soft.

He’s not going to outlast Thibs. Thibs is giving him every opportunity and the front office sees it. They will ship him out if they have to because he’s just been awful
