Dadiet, Sims/Hukporti, Payne and Deuce need to play.

Get these guys minutes down and maybe we'll see some better energy defensively.

Stagger Brunson and Towns.

Defense.

His offense will eventually revert to the mean but his effort on defense is awful.

He needs to play 32 mins.

He’s not going to outlast Thibs. Thibs is giving him every opportunity and the front office sees it. They will ship him out if they have to because he’s just been awful

If he doesn’t come around it’s a franchise killing trade. They’ll try to make Thibs the scapegoat and run it back with someone else before they ship him out and admit they made a franchise killing trade. So we have to keep hoping he comes around

Deuce.

Brunson hit some shots late.

We need our bigs back.

So if LaMelo (avging 40+ppg in last 4 games) had played we would have been cooked ??

Didn't know hamstring injury would take you out for 1+ month... I wasn't a pro by any means but when I played streetball, I think I was only out for a day or two and I was good to go again... we need Precious !

Probably not without multiple ball handlers. Besides Brunson there’s nobody that can make a plays from above the break unless it’s a spot up 3 or a line drive

Mikal hasn’t looked great at the start of games either but playing the whole 1st and 3rd and then playing with the “bench” unit is asking too much.

Maybe have Brunson and OG play the full 1st quarter and pull Hart, Mikal, and Kat at different times. Bring in Deuce, Sims at 5 min mark for Kat and either Hart or Mikal. Then bring in Dadiet for the other a minute or 2 later. Start the 2nd with Payne, Deuce, hart, Dadiet, Kat.

Every team in the league doesn't have 10 great players. You have to use your bench. Again, I point to how Atkinson in Cleveland manages his rotation. It's not like the guys off his bench are great to even really good players. Give your guys roles and put them out there to compete.

Payne and Deuce need to play more.

Dadiet has shown good effort on defense based on my eye test. He needs to spell OG more.

Precious needs to come back so that Hart's minutes can go down.

Thibs has to stop playing KAT for crazy stretches of time. Dude is exhausted by the end of the halves.

I am a bit surprised to see the people who have been banging the drum for Mikal for years even trashing our own players to heap praise on him every time we played the nets now trying to have him removed after 19 games

Deuce is ready to average 20 PPG as a starter. His shot is usually money

Love how he's playing. He's small next to Brunson but it cant be worse than Mikal.

Just wanna say that I think Brunson ended the LaMelo vs Brunson debate today. He outscored LaMelo by 31 points and had 6 more assists and rebounds, and LaMelo basically had zero impact. It was like he was not even on the court.

He fights through screens and gets up in the grill of bigger guys even if he can't always handle them. That's better than what Bridges is giving us.

He's posting a career high in minutes per game and his deep ball shooting and defense are putrid. It could be a coincidence. Or causation. But he needs to play less.

That was true of them last year, but the difference is they started using IHart as a hub passer. That has gone out the window even though KAT can make a lot of the same passes, he did it in the 4th.

The team needs a strict hierarchy, they need to force Mikal into being the 3rd guy whether he likes it or not. Tell him go to the rim and get to the line at least like he did last year, he's been ass but how he's being used doesn't help much either. Last year with the Nets 24% of his play types was as the PnR ball handler, this year that's down to 9%. That's less than it was his last year with the Suns (14%).
