NBA Cup Update

Assuming the C's win against the Bulls the Hawks take East Group C by way of winning the head to head tie breaker. That means in order for the c's to make the cup tournament they'd have to finish with the bets point differential of any team that finishes 3-1. The c's currently have a point of +14.

The four teams that are in it are:

Knicks (+15) and Magic (+37, play BKN tonight). Knicks and Magic will play Tuesday to decide who wins Group A.
Bucks (+29) and Pistons (+4, play IND tonight). Bucks and Pistons will play Tuesday to decide who wins Group B.

To maximize the C's chances of making the cup tournament you the following to happen:

1) Root for Magic loss tonight, the larger the difference the better to lower their point diff.
2) Root for Detroit to AT BEST win by 10 or lose, which will keep their point diff less than the C's current differential.
3) On Tuesday root for the team with the highest differential out of Knicks/Magic and Bucks/Pistons to win, because those teams will win their group and the c's would then be up against lower point differential teams.

Confusing? Yes, it is. But no matter what you want the C's to win by as much as possible tonight.

Boston clinches a spot in the Knockout Rounds as the East Wild Card if:

Could be the first time this season Cs will have their full roster healthy. Happy Thanksgiving!

Kornet is listed as PROBABLE on an otherwise clean injury report.

Lonzo is PROBABLE, Jalen Smith and Coby White are QUESTIONABLE, Patrick Williams is OUT for the Bulls.

Kornet has been upgraded to AVAILABLE. Zoya knows nothing.

Cs have their full squad healthy (not necessarily available, G-League assignment and such) for the first time this season.

EDIT: Jalen Smith, Dalen Terry, and Coby White are all AVAILABLE to play for the Bulls, per @KCJHoop.

Well boys I say we stick a middle finger to the NBA, and give back to bball gods for trouncing Chicago last year . Play them straight up for the first half and the 2nd half just host dunk contests and 3 point shooting contests on our own hoop run up the score for Chicago. Not that they need points to advance. Let Chicago advance and eliminate Atlanta yes I am petty. Too bad wouldn't happened and the NBA would have investigations.
