I was 10th row at the game today and watched him very closely. He is still limited and learning where to be but he has lots of moxie, a good 3 pter and looks sturdy. I like him and hope he continues to refine his skills.

That is a ridiculously stout teenager.

I don't see a world where he doesn't develop into atleast a quality role player. He passes one check mark of being a valuable player by being tall , and he seems to be on his way to being a consistent 3 point threat.

If he develops into French Marvin Williams, I'll be pretty satisfied.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

He definitely has the green light. Also he's backing himself to have deep range, though I'm yet to see any deep bombs connect. He's definitely not a fluke though from behind the arc and you'd back his shot to improve at least a bit as he gains experience.

His drives are..... a work in progress

He is literally freshman aged and should develop his skills as he turns from kid to man, man. LOL.
He is not a finished product fellas.

Yeah, bad Tidjane game. Definitely won't be the last one, just has to keep working.

Rough, rough game for him for sure. One of the (many) things he needs to work on is exploding into contact at the rim. He makes up his mind, goes (kinda) hard to the rim, and seems to wilt as soon as he makes contact gifting the interior defender.

Predictive EPM has Tidjane finishing the year with the 7th highest EPM among guys drafted in the lottery.

idk what all goes into that but I would say that would be a pretty strong finish for the youngest player in the draft.

The 39th pick Jaylen Wells is going to end up winning rookie of the year averaging 12 ppg and people were raging about our rookie not being good a week ago lol.

There's a deep one against the Nets...yeah his drives leave a bit to be desired, but I feel like when he makes a few of them eventually, his confidence will grow on his drives. He's already shown improvement on his drives in regards to creating contact and having some mild success at the FT line.

He's ahead of schedule guys. Sure, he just had a goose egg against the Hawks. Didn't Josh Green have a few of those? It happens, especially with 19 year old rookies. In the two games before that, he scored 17 and 14! That's an amazing two games for him all things considered. He's started 6 of the 18 games he's played, playing a role nobody expected him to play to start the year. He's doing great imo.

Looks like he could be out for a few games after that ankle sprain. Looked pretty bad live, turned nearly 90 degrees almost. **** Josh Hart, constantly pulling dirty dangerous plays like that but gets applauded because he “plays hard”. Guy is just straight up dirty imo.

Anyway I feel bad for the kid really. This is the exact time for him to soak up as many minutes as possible and really get his feet under him. If he’s ever going to have a bright future here it’s going to be by learning on the job. Just sucks all around.

I don't think we see him again this season. But I'd be glad if that's not the case.
