I dont see this quick shot from Jett and he is not an elite shooter in the NBA, at not yet. I just dont see him that "special"

Trae always starts seasons slow % wise and picks it back up. Pretty ridiculous to say he isn’t a good shooter or should be left open by just by small sample % plus to ignore volume as well. 37%+ from 3 in 2 of the last 3 seasons on high volume. (And in 22/23 when he shot 33% from 3 - he ended the season 37% from 3 in his last 47 games) Also Trae isn’t shooting them out of games consistently or anything when Hawks usually have a top 10 offense. The problem has always been on the other end for Trae and the hawks….he hasn’t shot well yet is still a very positive offensive player.

he really isnt. he is a career 35% from 3. that is below league averages, let alone for guards.

Yeah let’s just look at career % and ignore volume like I mentioned above. Trae was the #1 option day 1 he was drafted as well but yes career % while ignoring volume is the way to go. Streaky? Sure. Should be left wide open and below average? Nah don’t agree.

I said in a previous post he is a volume shooter. I just dont believe, and the stats show it, that he is a good or elite shooter.

Why?

Or maybe instead of just taking passive aggressive shots, just tell me where I'm wrong. I'll listen. Do you think Atlanta is going deep into the playoffs this year? If so are you convinced Bogdan is a big part of why? Do you see him on the roster in 2 years with a new contract?

If you see a lower ceiling as I do, why would you not want to scoop up some future value? Do you see more value in fighting for a play-in spot than building assets towards a higher ceiling? Your sarcasm seems to suggest so. Okay, cool. But why?

Let's have a discussion. That's what the board is for.

There was nothing about what I said that was passive aggressive; it was plenty direct. I've commented about the overrating of "abstract" value on the Trade board on multiple occasions in the past.

Perhaps, before your response, you should have considered that I just don't find you that interesting to converse with.
