I've been a fan of Peterson. A cheap end of the bench 6'8' guy who won't hurt you when he's out there. Hopefully he keeps on a good development track.

Same with Watson.

Kornet will be a FA, Xman and Springer could easily be traded so Maine is the cheap pipeline.

Could be a deadline deal, but a pre-draft deal is better IMO.

C's get Hornets rights to the Pels 25' 2nd and the rights to the Mavs 27' 1st (protected 1-2)

Hornets get C's 25' 1st and XMan (they'll have an open spot with Grant ACL injury now).

C's potentially have 2 picks in the 31-35 range in the 25' draft. Shed 2.5mil from the cap for next season.

That 27' 1st from the Mavs could be a good one. They'll max out Luka so I don't see them being the worst or 2nd worst team in the league. But it could be a lottery pick and the C's will need to start building with quality 1st's in a few years.

You know just occurred to me the main point of Peterson is to play the Tatum role for Maine.

Scheierman and Peterson are not with Maine tonight, lending a bit more credibility to the big Celtics injury report.

Looks like these two are going to shore up the Boston Celtics, tomorrow night.

Maine just completed a game which started at 11 am for some reason. They lost a fairly close one after a big 4th quarter comeback.

I did not watch it, but JD Davison scored 46 points on 16-26, 4-7 from three, 5 assists, 3 rebs, 2 steals, and a block.

Next time Davison is called up, they have to bench Tatum and tell those other guys to get the hell out of JD's way.

G-League start times during the work week are crazy. I'm going to see Main play in Indianapolis in January and the game starts at 12:30pm on a Tuesday.

I’m convinced JD’s issue is JD. Watching Maine’s game the team came out so flat and JD was practically walking around on the court. They were down by double digits with him in and when he was taken out they took over and the energy on both ends were obvious.

JD checks back in and the energy just goes blahhhh. Double digit lead to 4 in a blink.

Watson is a nice player who’s active and has room to grow even at 24. He can definitely develop into a replacement for XMan if they want to move him and save some money next year.
