Predict Our Next Win

We should win at least one of the Charlotte games. Bulls on New Year’s Day a probable win, maybe one of the Pelicans games. Toronto at home we should win. After trade deadline on 2/6, hopefully Brogdon, JV, and Kuz gone and may not win much more after that.

Will probably eke out double digit wins but less than 15 to set new franchise low win total.

At one point against Milwaukee, the Wizards were only down 103-105.

With Brogdon, Poole, and Valanciunas all playing well, Washington will win pretty soon.

I thought after the two Hawks wins they'd be bad but not this bad. We stank though. Might average 2 wins a month from here on out.
Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Besides least wins in a season, we might be setting a few other records.
Worst point differential in a season, at about -15 per game. 92-93 Mavericks have the record, and worst defense ever at about 121 pts per game. Last year’s Jazz has the record.

Maybe the Hornets game. Keep in mind folks, the goal is to be the worse team in the NBA. Worse record won't fall out of the top 5.

Agreed, though I wonder if we could be tanking while playing better basketball. It looks like our rookies & Bilal have regressed, and the effort defensively has clearly worsened...

It's the drawback of tanking, the losing mentality sets in. I mean realistically, we're looking at Bilal's 4th year as probably Winger/Dawkins goal of actually competing unless they think grabbing Cooper Flagg will end the deconstruction phase

Yep. It's likely we will be the worst team of the NBA this year and next.

As you said, the problem is the losing mentality that this may install in our young players..

Since we are clearly at the bottom, the next win would be hard to predict.

Capt Obvious says

It will eventually happen though just given the binary nature of games
combined with chaos. After DET's streak last year, their record (IIRC)
got better. Lots of low hanging fruit as far as aspects of the game,
small details like shooting and defense, that need improvement.

Sports books probably have catches to prevent people from doing
the seemingly obvious, bet against the zards.
