The way I deal with that is figure his turnovers into part of his shooting pct. Instead of a .600 shooter, he is .460 which is still acceptable considering we have to play him 43 mins this game (he is providing something). He is now a .750% FT which is very acceptable. Also, because he isn't getting the ball, he is more out of position. Some of those pass are also bailouts where he isn't in the right spot.
Not giving him excuses but as a whole, this team needs to work together and make each other better. Right now, sum of the whole is a lot worse than each individual add together.
Guys don’t want to pass when they don’t trust they will get the ball back. This leads to more pressure on yourself when you do get the ball which leads to bad things. Rudy gets so few touches without KAT, that he actually self sabotages. KAT was soul of the locker room and glue of the culture.
