Part of it was horrible paint defense while they have two great paint defenders. Mitchell is just attack 100 mph while Tatum is dribble dribble dribble iso. How do they not have better options….

You better hope it's injuries and not decline, because he's going to be a 35-year old with 3 years left on a huge contract...

Like the guy but one of the main reasons he doesn’t get talked about by the media as an all time great.

They still had a decent lead going to the fourth. That was a terrible fourth quarter. They need another winning streak.

Even with the loss the Celtics are still 16-4, still better than last season's 15-5.

Credit where credit is due, Mitchell came up big late in the 4th.

But looking at the big picture, the Cavs needed that unbelievable explosion from Mitchell and 2 starters missing for the Celts in order for the Cavs to get the win.

Are you actually going to compare the Celtics game for game vs their record this time a year ago?

What does that prove?

Ya I understand. He also got **** embarrassed in the playoffs with his coaching skills.

That team was prime for a title that year. There's no excuse for it and he was the weakest link.

Okay ?
Have you completely forgotten what happened last season when we went 16-3 ?

We will beat these guys in a 7-game series, but we need the whole team healthy and Jrue in the 2nd unit.

I'm confused. So Joe isn't why they lost in 22 but he is the reason they won in 23?

If not, your point is misleading if not completely disingenuous.

Mitchell can blow by guys and had Al in front of him. Tatum has Mobley and Allen on the paint. Still horrid iso ball though. Their crunch time play calling is horrid.

Mitchell almost outscoring the celtics the entire 4th with 20pts. How could you not double the guy, and let other player beat us. Smh.

It proves that there's some improvement compared to last season.

In case you didn't know, Celtics have not yet lost by double digits this season.

Last season the Celts lost by double digits twice after 20 games.

For a championship team, small improvements matter.

Its because Mitchell has better handles, and better shooting than tatum. He can easily get to the paint, and just stop for a jump shot or a floater. Tatum has average handles. Gathers the ball early on the dribble. Doesn’t know how to use the board properly. How could you miss an all important layup against a smaller guy!

I don’t think the cavs are great but Tatum turtled in the fourth quarter.

Sadly the numbers disagree.

Yeah I don’t care about the numbers. He misses way too many at the rim in crunch time.

I get it. I wish they won too. But yeah, your argument has no basis.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

It doesn't matter until the playoffs. I don't care if they finish with 25 loses.

It’s a collective effort dude.

16-4 not 17-4 yet. They better bounce back tomorrow. I hate losing games like this. We should be on top of the eastern conference and not the cavs.

But what matters to you doesn't have to matter to me and vice versa.

So if you think little improvements don't matter to you then just ignore my post.

I get that but they did start 15-0 so I’m not to worried about not being able to chase them down & get the #1 seed.
