Zion Williamson Expected To Sign With Bill Duffy

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Mon Dec 2, 2024 3:05 am

Zion Williamson is expected to hire WME Sports' Bill Duffy as his new agent after parting ways with CAA. Williamson's primary agent was Austin Brown.

Williamson signed a five-year, $197 million extension with the Pelicans in 2022 that began during the 23-24 season.

Williamson is currently out indefinitely with a left hamstring issue.

Is he preparing for New Orleans to not guarantee his contract going forward, thus becoming a free agent...?

Is Bill Duffy a personal chef?

I think he's probably just unhappy his agent didn't get a better deal (ie one without the clause). I can't think of any other player who has such a condition in their contract. Then again how many elite NBA players don't take care of their bodies to the extend they're just a walking injury waiting to happen.
