Re: PG: Another buzzer beater loss
I remember reading folks thinking Utah's Coach was pretty good during last season. But they're 4-13 so from reading this thread that must mean he now is a bad coach. Never mind the fact that they lose their pick in a good draft if it's not in the top 10 and that his GM Ainge loves his high picks.

Hes built a good offense for the players to play in and weve already seen maasive developmental gains in like a year and a half. The improvement we've seen from guys like Gradey and Ochai is crazy, RJs fit in and looked instantly better in this offense, Scottie made an all star team, Poeltll is having one of the best stretches of his career, and even fringe guys like Shead, Mogbo and Fernando are doing better than expected.
If he doesn't improve things like in game management then we probably have to move on eventually, but he's done exactly what we need him to so far
I look for a coach to outperform expectations, much like anything else in life. We'll see how long the good vibes last, nothing messes with players heads more than constantly losing. And let me remind you, Darko isn't tanking. He's legit trying to win these games. There are 30 head coaching jobs in the the league -- he is jeopardizing his employability by constantly losing. Show me a head coach that has carved out a career being a development coach with no wins. I'll wait..
Incredibly tough schedule and without our best players. You simply can’t win games in this league if you’re already a bad team AND you’re missing your best players. Your expectations are way too high. We aren’t a good team.
What will be the excuse when they continue to lose games during soft parts of the schedule? Again no one is trying to lose these games

I never said they are trying to lose games. The point is you need good players to win games. If a team is missing its best players, they aren’t going to win games. Plain and simple. Scottie, IQ, RJ, Brown, KO have either missed many of our games or all of them. If anything, they’ve exceeded expectations considering they have been in nearly every game all year.

The Suxers are the worst worst team in the league.
the best worst team in the league still applies, just not what you're expecting
