Deadass watching a 20 year old dominate the league and he’s nowhere near his final form, body and experience! It’s already so easy for him!! He’s a better defender, it’s not close, than most of the league! He’s been been the best defender, hell, he deserved DPOY last season!

I know people are amazed at the things he can do, but I still feel like he’s criminally underrated! It’s like we see it, but aren’t putting it into context. This guy is great already!

Injury god don’t trip on him!!! Just let ME enjoy watching this until I go to the upper roooom! I’m begging!

I have been enjoying him, peacefully, on my own this season, but sometimes I want to see people talking about him and this is the place I pay attention for basketball. I catch snippets from player’s podcasts and I see some commentary every now and then, but they don’t hit like when we discuss things here.

I feel like he needs his own board and I don’t mean Spurs!

Every hoops fan should see him live at least once. It's one thing to see what he does on TV, it's an entirely different experience in person. If you haven't seen him live, it's hard to understand how much he warps the geometry of court so that might play into why he is underrated. Plus you know, he plays defense and the media doesn't care about that.

I haven’t but would love too. I’d have to go to an Orlando or Heat game.

He makes it look like he isn’t trying but I’m always amazed. The announcers get hype when he dunks or blocks but he does the smallest things and I’m wowed, people look shook by his presence! He’ll also do some ish you’ve never seen, he can stop a drive when he’s far away, then recover to the pass out and alter/block that shot, get the long rb, and take it back on the break to fake a drive into a step-back 3!

I might be exaggerating a little, but I know I have seen something close and it’s something I have never seen from a big (especially) or small!!

Are we out officially? If not, can someone show what is needed again, please? I want to know what I want to happen before I randomly pick teams I want to win.

Celtics enter as wildcard if any of these scenarios happen...

EDIT: My bad. I think we need two of the scenarios to occur, one from each game.

We need to Magic to beat the Knicks by plus 6 or more unlikely Knicks to win by plus 37

And Pistons to beat the Bucks by plus 6-8 (which seems unlikely right now)

If I am wrong, my apologies

It's just the Magic winning by any amount, combined with either Detroit winning by 6+ or Milwaukee by 5+. Sean Grande is off by a point above. The tiebreakers all favor the Celtics.

Looks like the Celtics will have 11 days of rest during the NBA Cup tournament.

Good time to heal from minor injuries.

That would be an excellent win by the Knicks. Bucks playing better as well.

I still feel we are better than the bucks but the bucks always give this team problems for some apparent reason.

Magic have been in a 9-1 tear, hottest team in the league going in.

Well now the Knicks are up 33. The Celtics need them to win by 37 or more. This scenario did not seem plausible.

Not looking good. Knicks will run up the score then just sit their guys. Do they have incentive to win by 37+?

I know very little. I should care more.

It's 36 now. They might want the Celtics.

No way this ends up in our favor. Thibs is going to call off the dogs shortly and they move onto Vegas. The setup for this tourney is lameeeee. It should be like the group stage in the world Cup.

Best thing for the Celtics is NOT get in the tourney in my opinion. Celtics would probably play Indy and Washington if they don’t get in.
