It's a genius strategy to tank this season with the hopes of adding a supreme talent to this core. Not happening though. Like I said, this team will fight It's way back into the play in convo and then sell us all on next season yielding better results with better continuity and health.

I remember that. Feels like every Philly team likes to delude themselves that if they just "make it" that something might happen. The only teams to pull that off are the Phillies and that's mostly just a byproduct of the sport where getting hot can override a talent gap. Same thing in hockey with a hot goalie (not that the Flyers would even know what a competent goalie looks like let alone a hot one).

Basketball is not one of those "get hot" sports.

Was at the game tonight, fun crowd. PG and Maxey are too good to tank into the bottom 3. Might still be able to be bottom 6 tho.
