That's why you get guys who can score the ball when your defense is irrelevant.

Magic don't know how to play without Hank Waters in attendance.

We played soft after they got going. These games happen, they do, they shouldn’t happen in a elimination cup game however.

Magic fans don't deserve a good team. You can be disappointed and not lose your minds over it.

This is different to any other loss. Consider it an elimination game where all they had to do was not lose by more then 30 points - and they’ve managed to do exactly that.

Magic don’t deserve to win anything good if they can’t handle the task of not losing by more than 30 points. Weak AF effort from them.

That's not what I'm saying though.

But if people want to overreact about all of our players or coaches and want them gone, they can watch another team. Not my fault if people can't handle losses, no matter how bad they are.

If my team has played well/competitive for 13 out of 14 games, I am not going to say "they don't deserve anything good".

I was making a point of equivalence. As simple as it is to say “you can be disappointed and not lose your minds” is akin to saying “you can lose and not lose by more than 36 points”. Get me?

If the Magic can be excused for the loss and be permitted to win good things, then fans can be excused for losing their minds tonight and still be permitted a good team. (Petty equivalence again).

The team just don’t seem that fussed about **** the bed as badly as they have tonight.

I know we have a game tomorrow but we need to put our starters in.

If I was Mose, I would use this as a teaching moment and show the team that resting on their laurels when they haven't accomplished anything leads to getting knocked out of the cup.

I think a problem with our playstyle is that we play so hard already that when other teams match our energy when its a must win game, it takes away one of our biggest competitive advantages

We need another gear

I don’t think that was their problem. This te never seemed swigged about winning those games. It’s a teaching moment because they need to learn how to step up in pressurized situations. Our role players play way better at home. They need to learn to play better on the road.

They can make contested shots. We can't make open ones.

I wish that was an anomaly but it isn't.

We look unbeatable when we made shots and play our usual defense.

If we are bad on defense and can't make shots... you get this

You would think the Knicks would let us get into the IST so they get a free win lol.

Tbf, i think this is when we miss Goga as a bruiser.

The Knicks have outplayed and outmuscled this team the past few years. This is the type of game where you see the difference of men vs boys.

We can't reliably make shots though. We haven't had an average offense, let alone a good one, in over a decade now.

They worked hard to get a 60+ differential to play in the cup. Yeah, it is a loss but they can make the tournament. It was a goal of theirs, they should go for it.

This team can't score... so if our defense is off like it was this game they're going to get creamed. It doesn't help either that the Knicks have the most efficient offense/top 3 offense in the league.
