There's like 30 to 40 posts when he fouls out and lashes our at refs after trying to desperately eke out a win for his team. Ppl were quick to make a thread about it and hace an opinion about it too. They thought it was a triumph of their fred hate.
Pensare all about cherry-picking an edited video to the score "o furtuna". I wonder what it's like for him to be so passionate about something he doesn't know anything about.
Then fred leads his team to a win over OKC, out-dueling SGA down the stretch, securing his team to the 2 seed in the standings. "Where is your soulllllll fred?!?!"
Pensare said that Houston betrayed their fanbase by signing fred and had destined them for perennial franchise failure. He did that while borderline crying. Like literally fighting back tears.
Imagine being SAD and emotional because a player that you hate soooo much got signed! How much of a hater troll do you have to be in being MAD at a franchise for signing a basketball player that you hate?
Unfortunately for pensare....painstakingly editing video compilations of a p ro athlete's worst moments set to the tune "o fortuna" is worth about as much as his youtube channel domain.
If pensare's influence didn't extend to this board then it would be a non-issue. Just a pure narcissist and wrong about everything all the time. This cat be posting videos that he calls "film sessions". Please someone kill me. Lol
I got news for the haters. The Rockets are about to go on a winning streak. And it's gonna be glorious. Fred might start wearing a whistle while he plays. Or hold a clipboard in his left hand while he "selfishly" runs the offense in his role as "undersized shooting guard".

Honestly Fred is one of the most overpaid players in the league. His percentages continue to be atrocious. That guy is not winning anything being one of the teams highest paid players.
Someone always used to say that Fred was a floor raiser and ceiling capper and that pretty much sums him up. He has value and some intangibles that contribute to winning especially in the regular season but you’re not winning a championship with him as one of your main guys.
He’s Kyle Lowry light. Which in some ways is a compliment, but then you look at the Lowry demar raptors and saw what happened in the playoffs and that pretty much sums up fvvs potential except he’s not as good. Idk why you’re getting so excited over a guy shooting 38%/34% in a league where efficiency matters. Theres no other player in the league that can shoot that horribly and still get so much love.

I don't know. There's some way in which he is super valuable on the court even with those percentages. Look at his EPM this year, he's literally ranked right up with the top players in the league and generally the rest of the guys up there make sense. It happens with Fred regularly that his impact is seen as incredibly positive with the advanced stats.
More broadly as well it's impressive that for every season but one in his career he has been a solidly positive plus minus player. The team is basically always better when he's on the court. It was true in Toronto and now it's been true in Houston.
His coaches seem to know and value this impact. Both Nick Nurse and Ime Udoka, two good coaches, have consistently played Fred more than any other player on their teams.
I think that's it really right there, the advanced stats see him as incredibly valuable, and so do his coaches.

And yet every year with him as the starter we’ve been meh. We did good in the regular season one season and were obviously destroyed in the playoffs and then the next year play in and lost at home to a **** team.
Again he has some value to make the team better in the regular season like I said very much like a Lowry light. But you just know the team isn’t doing anything significant with him as one of its best players. Theres no way I’m picking Houston in any playoff series in the west.

We'll see. The Rockets are kinda geared to play 'playoff ball' imo. One of the best coaches with all that athletic defense. I'd cite the Miami Heat always over-achieving in the playoffs as a decent comparison. But it's true you never truly know with these things until you see it. They might just be too young this year.
FWIW....I think the knicks will be better in the playoffs than they have been so far in the regular season. Another team that seems geared for playoff success.
