Way to go Jerry.Another WR,and RB would have helped the Defense today.

I’ve been saying that I don’t see Jerry firing Mike McCarthy mid season. MM would have to completely lose the team like Phillips did and I haven’t seen that from this team. Well this might be the beginning of the end. Micah Parsons letting his feelings be known.

Some cloud cover would have helped the offense.

I’ll show myself out.

As noted on another site as well as certain social networking platforms (just a suggestion - Bluesky is wonderful), there are currently 11 teams with either 2 or 3 wins. We have an opportunity to see how bad this one really is. That Giants game on Thanksgiving looms large. A top 5 pick is in the balance.

Daniel Jones is better than either Cooper Rush or Trey Lance. I got Giants wining by less than a TD.

Daniel Jones benched…

I got the Giants winning by more than a TD now.

I just saw that. So I’m going to go out in a limb and say that Cooper Rush is going on par with Tommy “Danny” DeVito, and by that I mean they equally suck. The Giants might have saved their shot at the #1 pick by benching Jones.

Nice win against the Giants on Thanksgiving.

Just nice to see the team fight and not quit on the season.

Cooper Rush has really shaken the rust off. Even though it would still be nice to have a top 5 pick I still enjoy watching the Cowboys win. It’s nice to see that the Cowboys actually do have some nice pieces on defense to build around besides just Micah.

Wow so Cincy actually has a defense as bad as ours is.

The difference is they have a top-5 scoring offense. What a contrast. Shows how important defense is.

This should actually be an extremely high scoring game, as these are two of the worst defenses in the NFL, and it should end with Cincy outscoring Dallas. Like 48 to 36 or something like that. If Cooper can connect with Lamb, this is the game for him to do it.

So if the Cowboys win 2 more games before the final game against Washington and Washington goes winless until that last game against Dallas, that final game could be for the final Wild Card spot. Does that sound about right?

Looks like the NFC North is going to hog up two Wild Card spots, leaving one remaining. And we'd be 8-9 under your scenario if we beat Wash. So I'm sure it's possible but we'd also need other teams to do not win out, like Tampa, Arizona, LA Rams.

I'm thinking the odds of this are pretty low, and we need it to not happen because it could lead to Jerry having to consider McCarthy.

But… would McCarthy consider Jerry?

You would think no, but probably because this might be the end of his career as a head coach?

Or maybe I am off on that. On paper McCarthy actually has a good resume. Very good actually, better win% than Sean Payton.

I honestly wasn’t a fan of the hire based on what I had heard from Packer fans I respect. And even though I don’t blame him entirely for what has taken place this season, there is no compelling reason for me to believe another year of him here will reap any better results than the "12-5 & Out” stuff from the previous seasons. And - I do actually wonder if he has had it with the Jerry management style. He doesn’t need this.
