I'll take bad loses as ugly or ashaming loses.
Since they count exactly the same for the standings, they bother me just the same than good loses, pretty loses or proud loses.
That's about facts. When it comes to opinions/interpretations/asses... well... I can have one of those as the first man.
In my case, when game displayed at court both ends tells me hopeful things or disgraceful things about the team.
Regardless the opponent level, current health/flow/backtoback situation and even regardless if evil L or Divinal W fwim.
Under this bias here my provisional view:
So far concerning.
By no means disastrous.
Team is competing more often than not. He just must grow to do it each an every minute of each and every game.
Easier said than done 'course.
Still feasible.

Any win and any loss count the same on the record, you are absolutely correct. But, good teams historically beat sub .500 teams. You play 82 total games, but some are harder than others based on the competition level. If you drop the weaker competition games, it puts more pressure on the games against better competition. This is especially troubling when you have issues with inconsistent effort, inconsistent defense, and high turnover rate on offense.
P.S we get two years before the 2nd apron becomes so toxic things get unbearable. You cannot afford to waste one on this BS, which is what we are doing at this point. We can turn it around, but it looks very ugly at this point 25% through the season.

I respect your opinion.
I won't judge it.

I'm still not worry too much. But time run fast and it's now that we need to find consistency and make a run. Game against Lakers was full of promises but i'm not confident that much as we play Lakers in B2B with 40 years Lebron, 31 AD... obviously they could not run much. Tonight game will tell us much more. Specially for ANT after not playing well few games.

Counter point: Playing well as a team despite your star player struggling should be a positive sign

Call it frustrating all you want, but losing to a borderline playoff team is a bad loss. Full stop.

A "few" is generally described as between a "couple" and "several".
Bad losses:
- Lakers
- Spurs
- Heat
- Blazers
- Blazers
- Raptors
- Kings
Appears Rockets are legit this year, thus I'll keep them off the list.
Part of this is hitting lottery teams at the wrong time of the season. Teams like the Blazers or Raptors aren’t actively tanking this early, and are trying to get their wins now. Meanwhile, at this time of the season, the Timberwolves are trying to figure out their chemistry, and have a decent chance of simply beating themselves.
In the NBA, the difference between being a good (not “great”) team, and a below average team is not very big. We often see mediocre teams put together decent winning streaks, and good teams suddenly lose a bunch in a row. All teams have NBA-level players. Before the KAT trade, I sais that we would likely get off to a strong start because we were bringing back our top seven players, and we already had team chemistry. It isn’t surprising then that after a trade that replaced KAT with two brand new players that we would lose several games early.
