the recession is inevitable within 6 months… you invest when they sell low
They've been calling a recession for like 10 years now
Plandemics was pure recession… but Biden administration kept it artificially in the “normal” terms with printing money like crazy… 2025 America economy will be like 2015 Knicks basketball

These things can never be truly predicted, especially by retail investors like you, me, or anybody else in here.
They are already lowering rates again. And there's a sense of euphoria in the markets since the "businessman" Trump has won the election.
USA economy is still too strong.
Permabears have been very wrong for the last +10 years. Any retail investors following the likes of Michael Burry missed out on a lot of potential gains.
They thought Covid was finally going to be the recession. Nope. Markets set record numbers.
They thought the Biden admin was going to kill the market. Nope. Just a <1 year bear market (which was a great buying opportunity). Market continued to break all time highs soon after. Just buying the dips on blue chips Amazon, Facebook, etc were lifetime opportunities for retail investors. I'm up +100% on these in my HSA and Roth IRAs.

They will turn the money printers on soon. Global money supply (M2) has been climbing steadily since the end of 2022. Interest rates will need to stay low if we want to pay off our debts and this is true of every major country. Inflation is still too high and much higher than reported. I suspect we have been running at 10%+ a year since 2020 and maybe have "cooled off" to 7%. This means that at this rate the dollar is losing half it's purchasing power every ten years.
If you don't have most of your money in appreciating assets, you are going to get wrecked. Cash is the worst place for your money, followed by savings and bonds. Hopefully DOGE can drastically cut government spending as our only hope is to stop running a deficit but even with all the doom and gloom, I don't expect a recession. They will just turn the printers on to prevent it in the short-term and kick the can down the road.

Companies & Wall Street admitted it was them raising the prices and keeping them there. Literally.
If the govt controlled all inflation, then why is there ever any inflation. Why would a governing body allow that knowing it would hurt them electorally.
Use logic not conspiracy theories.

Why don’t we start with subsidies for Musk? 4.9 billion so far and counting. Funny how they won’t turn those off. Almost as if the sole purpose is to enrich themselves.

The government is mostly in the business of transferring wealth from citizens to insiders. They control how the CPI is calculated and control how the inflation data gets reported. Since the invention of the Federal Reserve in 1913 the dollar has lost almost 99% of it's purchasing power. This is an invisible transfer of wealth from cash holders to asset holders (poor to rich). Businesses do not cause inflation, governments with the help of the banking system cause all inflation.
Governments printing money is a form of kicking the can down the road. Inflation is not instantly felt and some one else will have to take the blame so there is no political damage.

Musk has publicly asked that federal tax credits for EVs be removed. Those we created due to lobbying from the major us auto makers and he would be in favor of getting rid of them. SpaceX mostly benefits from government contracts, particularly from NASA and the Department of Defense, to provide space transportation and satellite launches.
Are there other subsidies I don't know about?

He's also seeking to remove federal funding for Rivian a competitor. Totally not self serving

The idea that a billionaire gave 130 million dollars to another billionaire so he can help Americans save money on eggs is just crazy. It has been and always be about feudalism when conservatives are in power. All the theocratic fascism & bigotry is just a means to get in power to do the feudalism.

XRP is already HUGE but maybe it still has the legs for 10 to 20 bucks. Hard to say as it is more of a bankers coin but the coin isn’t really necessary to use the tech. I’ve been out of the loop for a while it, so maybe someone can jump in here. I had a crap ton at .005 cents years back. Did a 40x and I got out. Not sure it can do that again but this is crypto and big money sort of decides.
I’d look at smaller market cap coins, just to increase your chances. (I don’t mean micros, small to mid is great if you do your DD.) Morally, I don’t really want XRP as it is way too centrally controlled for my liking. Many good coins listed in this thread. Even big MC coins go up a lot. (Especially if the get on Binance and Coinbase.)
But do look into AI related coins and a little into memes. In a sense, most coins are memes anyways as they are mostly ideas and not profitable. But true memes (AI memes included) are about community, not just dog and cat pics. Get one that is not yet (or just got on) Coinbase or Binance ideally.
Coingecko is a good starting tool (or coinmarketcapj to do some research and see where to buy. And the AI bots on Twitter are like paid experts some of the time but FREE, right now anyway. But you got to find those…

The narrative behind it is the fed cant continue to print and devalue money out of thin air so they will eventually move to a CBDC (= Central Bank Digital Currency).
Supposedly that CBDC could be XRP and if that is the case the value ofjust 1 is supposed to be really high..like from hundreds to way more to cover the entire market cap of all money.
If you believe in the decentralized principle of crypto them the idea of CBDCs goes directly against this. If you are a degenerate like me you dont give a damn and just want profits

I bought some about 18 months ago but then I got bored because it never moved. Now it finally pumps but it was due for it. I dont regret selling it because Ive made gains with faster moving trains.
Will it ever get adopted? Who knows? SOme think XRP believer are a cult....
Is it work a gamble? Sure I guess.
Here's a link to a youtube channel...these guys are convinced XRP will moon...check it out if you want:

Price gouging is not a form of inflation. Inflation is an increase in the supply of money or money substitutes, which lead to a general rise in prices across the economy.
Price gouging often occurs during emergencies. This phenomenon reflects the functioning of the free market, where prices adjust to reflect supply and demand changes. These price increases signal shortages and incentivize suppliers to bring more goods to market, thereby aligning resources with areas of greatest need.
Sometimes gouging occurs because of an existing monopoly which is one of the few places we need the government (monopoly busting).
