This is a good illustration of the difference between the g league and the nba levels. The best team in the gleague that just blew out this 905 absent their nba guys, is getting blown out now and all the regular 905 guys look like possible nba role players suddenly.

They all only played spot minutes. Just enough to set the tone for the rest of the team. Walter had some moments, Battle hit his shots as usual, and Shead was just decimating the other team with his passing, especially at the beginning of the second half. Mogbo had the attention of the refs unfortunately, and got hit with quick fouls every time he was on the court so he didn't get a chance to do much.

They basically filled it with elementary school kids on class trips. You couldn’t buy a ticket. I remember the Raps gave away tickets for upper bowel at skydome for a preseason game and basically stated a riot. They were lucky no one was killed. People love free stuff, even if they don’t actually like it.

My kids' school went to the game last year and it was $18 each (and I was a parent volunteer and my ticket was free). Their school(s) didn't get invited this year so I assume its a rotation of so many TDSB elementary schools. In 2022 my kids' school got to go to a Marlies game (at coca-cola coliseum). For Sauga kids (Peel region), I'm guessing they have those types of games at their regular Paramount Fine Foods center.

Dylan Disu was 8-9 from three and had 26 points. Great showing and he has been getting better each game. He was the player I was most excited about for a two-way deal but Battle has earned it. I do think there is a place in the NBA for Disu. The guy had 9-10 BPM in college and took a huge shooting leap in his final year.

With how it seems to be a win-win for every party involved, they should definitely schedule a few of these to ensure everyone gets to go each year. Seems like a great experience for everyone involved.

I am so happy with all of the Raptors picks this season (plus Battle).

I am a defense first kinda guy & the defense is what really caught my eye when the draftees were out there. They suffocated & outmatched fhe other team on the defensive side. It looked like Houston (NCAA) playing against a JUCO team at times.

Even a few of the regular 905 guys looked really good with better talent around them.

I hope our guys really enjoyed playing in this game together & it morivates them to play more games together down there.

They looked like Fred/ Pascal/ Poeltl on steroids out there.

Awesome youth movement we have going on. Lots to be excited about.

Its too bad our 905 record is garbage because all their main guys keep playing for the main club. We would have a very good 905 team if our rookies all stayed down there.
