Re: Fantasy Football Thread
Fantasy is so dumb. Cook ruled out 6pm Monday night, I have Ty Johnson (in 2 leagues I have Cook) and they said he's been getting first team reps. Gets a nice 12 yard gain on his first carry, barely in the rest of the game so I lose both haha.

Greg Joseph missed two fg’s and I lost by 6.
This is why I’m 1-5 this year.

Wish I knew when I'm supposed to play Javonte Williams.

In one league I didn't have a choice due to byes. But Kamara only got 5 points.
In my other league I literally traded him the day before. Fantasy is weird.

Of course the one week where Gibbs and Bijan finally ball out at the same time, I have injuries to Jayden Daniels, Brandon Aiyuk, plus DeVonte Smith and Jameson Williams give me 1.6 combined fantasy points. Did I mention I have nearly 100 more points allowed than the 2nd worst team in our league? #Cursed

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
Is it just me, or is TE production down this year? That would go for the league, not just fantasy, but that's where I'm feeling it. Kincaid and LaPorta have both sucked. Kelce is way down, Hock is out, Njoku has been out and not great (may change now with Watson out), Engram is way down, McBride and Fergusson are both down and touchdown-less.

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
TE production was pretty awful the first four weeks. Two main leagues had Njoku and McBride, and peppered Kraft in off the waiver. Bizarre how everyone popped off on TE Day. Kittle has been absurd.
I don't think I've ever asked for advice here but first time I'm really struggling - 2QB league, I have Jayden, Love, Staff. 6pts per TD, 20 yards per point. Can't decide on QB2 with Love or Stafford vs Seattle. Stafford is night and day with Cupp and Nakua, and consensus rankings have Staff higher, albeit I don't think those have accounted for Love playing. Very uneasy after sneaking out a win the game Jayden left in the first Q and losing last week with Jordan coming out against Jax.

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
I am currently sitting at 4-5 while having the highest point total in my league. Good times.

Kinda in the same boat at 5-4 with the 2nd highest point total in the league.RiotPunch wrote:I am currently sitting at 4-5 while having the highest point total in my league. Good times.
That said having Burrow and Chase might push me into the #1 spot after this week

My fantasy team is pretty meh anyway but I'm on just an amazing run of opponent bad luck. I've had 170+ scored on me 3 times already and I'm against Chase this week lol.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
I'm so **** sick of NFL team injury subterfuge. I had Chuba in the flex, only to have Nico activated and expected to play. Wake up to Chuba having a career game and Nico a GTD. Then Nico ruled out leaving me a choice between Jonnu and Woods. So **** frustrating.

Barely got it done with Jonnu versus Stafford/Kupp. Not a fun sweat, but that was awesome.

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
Trading Jonnu for Kraft might be the worst trade I've ever made.

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
This thread feels dead, but how do we feel about a Malik Nabers for Chase Brown trade? Full-PPR.
I have Tracy, Dobbins, Hubbard, Etienne at RB and Amon-Ra, Nico, Nabers, JSN at WR.
A little worried about Nabers' groin and Tommy Cutlets slinging the ball. JSN has a strong matchup, so could withstand Brown's BYE, seemingly. Brown's volume is enticing, but Nabers is a damn stud so it feels bad. Tempted to counter Nabers+Goff for Brown+Love. Thoughts?
QB: Daniels, Goff
WR: Amon-Ra, Nico, Nabers, JSN
RB: Tracy, Dobbins, Hubbard, Etienne, Brooks
TE: McBride

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
I have Daniels on bye and had to pickup a QB - waivers were slim and I ended up picking up both Goff and Williams (has been top 5 past two weeks with new O coordinator)
I have St. Brown and LaPorta so I'd hate to toss in Goff to that mix when my fandom doesn't really want them to do well (maybe the Pack is up big and DET has to throw a lot). With the CB room thin for the Packers, makes me lean more Goff.
Thoughts?

I mean having those two on the roster allready is doing that. Adding Goff just means when they get points he does to

Yeah I’m doing that regardless, Goff is just a bye week play (Daniels). That’s the dilemma. I’ve decided to go for a triple play, do or die I guess.

Re: Fantasy Football Thread
Torn between Pacheco or Pollard as my Flex play. I get the feeling Pacheco could have a big game but that Cincy D just give of points left and right so im worried this could be one of those weeks were whoever I bench is getting an auto 2 TDs
