Lonzo Ball Offers

Post#1 » by JMAC3 » Fri Dec 6, 2024 10:10 pm

Assuming the Bulls asking price is expiring contracts and 2 2nds. No negative multiyear contracts considered...

What are the realistic offers they might receive?

I can’t think of any $20M+ expiring contracts attached to players performing worse than Ball to make it worth giving up 2 2nds to make the swap for his own expiring contract. Are there any expirings fully not playing due to injury?

Micic, Taj, Jeffries, and Denver's 2nd this year. That's it. Everyone's trade eligible by early January

It is a no value package because Lonzo has no value.

Other GMs telling them they’re expecting too much.

He went close to 3 years without playing a single game, he’s an expiring contract, and you’re saying the asking price is expiring contracts and two seconds. No, not happening

You maybe pull off Ball for an expiring contract, a non expiring contract (so so player), filler and a second round pick if some really feels they have a need for Lonzo

I doubt the Lakers are giving up Rui for Lonzo. At least they know Rui can give them 30 mins in the playoffs.

I'm hoping Ball continues to play well in short stints for now, then we resign him to a cheap deal next summer. He's still only 27 and playing solid-great bench piece

No way you get expiring deals and picks for an expiring deal.

At best, you maybe get a talented player on a short term deal

Clippers can figure it out if Bulls are willing to take PJ Tucker. Lonzo is the key to getting LaMelo to LA.
