lol, we should start shooting them from the backcourt… imagine how good our transition D would be if our players never crossed the timeline … lol … lol

As they should. It works. It's not gonna work every night obviously.

I don’t think so. They’re shooting more 3s than 2s this season compared to last year. The different is huge.

I hope this is just a regular season trend they’re playing with. I don’t think people realize they’re Shooting 10% more 3s this year last. It’s a hell of a lot and we’re lapping the league in attempts. Couple bad nights shooting in the playoffs could really set them way back in a series.

Some ugly shooting today including a lot of missed free throws
I blame fatigue from playing 5 in 7
Only PP and JB shot well
JB's 5 TOs and our bigs lack of ability to hold a basketball down low didn't help

Some of the Celtic fans here learned their lesson when the Cs won the chip.

Guess you're not one of them.

Brown still hasn't learned to dribble the ball. He does fine when all alone, but if someone is playing him even some what tight he is going to lose his dribble and turn it over.

No need to push misinfo to confirm your bias.

Already showed you Cs offense actually got better this year relative to league average. It's our DEFENSE that's not up to par. -3.7 relative defensive rating last season. Down to just -2.0 this season. #3 defense last season per CleaningtheGlass. Just 10th coming into this game (likely got worse).

No. I am 100% right, check your numbers.

Last year our net rating was +11.6

This year our net rating is +10.1

The net rating is the margin and I said it was going in the wrong direction, which is 100% true

5 games in 7 nights is exhausting.

Didnt have their legs. Obviously.

Waiting on schedule easing up. Its needed.

Must have had one of the toughest schedules to date in the league.

They won't shoot this poorly in a 7-game series.

They really will though, if they play like they did tonight, and are defended in the same manner.

Tonight we saw something like the '22-23 frontrunners who, when faced against a good, disciplined opponent, fell behind, lost its rhythm, and knew little else but to quasi desperately chuck threes.

From early on, we played like were defeated. It's not that there wasn't any effort, but there didn't seem to be any leadership IMO. Grizz defense gave us a tough time and our answer was to 'just keep shooting' and hope to grab the rebound when applicable. That will not cut it come the playoffs.

On the plus side, we were somehow still in it 'til the end despite the officiating.

Not getting what you're asking for.

Crunchtime action. Felt like 25 threes by KP.

I've watched the game from a MEM perspective.

Yup... I'd say you being in a tough schedule spot played some role indeed.
Both teams are yet hanging on the borders of Late pre Season before getting into full RS mode.

Even with Porn fully in rhythm and Horford back I adventure some perhaps biased opinion of mine:

When it comes to core men you are undoubtedly higher level than Grizzs whether out of proven resumee and even out of popular and (supposed) experts consideration.

When it comes to full roster including deep bench and/or the way to maximize it...

Well...I make no promises.

I didn't like KP shooting those last two 3s that he missed.

But I don't think he'll do that in the playoffs.

For me, JB is still the one who screwed up this game.

JB was efficient shooting the ball, but he was making too many mistakes.

Our net rating is slightly down because our defense isn’t where it was at. Our offense is holding strong.

But believe what you want to believe despite the evidence.

Okay, no worries, I think we’re taking too many, that’s my opinion and I watch the games. But You obviously watch the games as well and I certainly respect your opinion.
