Some mundane OG stats tonight. 25 pts, 5 reb, 2 assts, 4 steals, 2 blocks.

The MSG crowd broke into a chant of OG OG and the camera showed Marcus Camby joining in.

Precious had a nice ovation when he checked in the first time all season. 12 minutes only 2 points but played some solid D. He's going to add to the depth.

knicks won comfortably by 24 points, yet OG played 40 min, bridges 47.5 minutes.

OG, Hart and Bridges are playing the most minutes of their careers this year. Bridges playing almost the entire game in a blowout is incomprehensible. I'm sure this will end well.

Og is in the perfect spot for him

And Achiuwa has the perfect coach to hold him accountable unlike Nurse

Thought about Siakam while reading this WT article. The Pacers gave up barely anything for the privilege of signing him and still may end up regretting the move. Nobody wants the Lavine, Ingram tier of players at what they cost.

Granted I would have taken Siakam over those 2 in 2019-20, but he’s fallen off lately and doesn’t play defense anymore.

Anyway wonder if we’ll see more teams going the RFA route like the Suns with Ayton, or the Warriors not extending Kuminga

It only became a blowout in the second half but yeah I was thinking it was crazy as it was happening, as Bridges never came out till the last couple minutes. I think Thibs is a good coach but his substitution patterns are a concern. By contrast Cavs are playing 10 guys regularly.

Cade Cunningham dominated his head to head matchup against OG Anunoby dropping 29/15/10.

Outrebounded OG by 6 and held him to 35% shooting. Impressive.

It was mostly against Bridges (and Hart) with OG on Harris

Siakam only getting 8 shots in 34 minutes is crazy.

Especially when Toppin and McConnell combine for 30 shot attempts.

Trading Norm was Masai's biggest miss...after Bruno.

Og annual salary: 43 milly per year. 14/4/3

RJ annual salary: 25 milly per year. 30/8/4

So it's settled then once and for all. The secondary piece of the OG trade return is better than OG, aka the invisible man. At almost half the cap hit. Yep yep.

I like both players and don't want to get sucked into a debate but you weren't watching the game if you thought OG was invisible tonight. He had some big defensive plays.

it almost feel personal. who care's RJ 25, OJ 43. OJ is unique. He can defend at a level that is exceptional. He's worth it in the right situation.
