When Ayton is actually engaged and playing IN the post, he can be a good center. Problem is, he is rarely engaged, and doesn’t like to play down low in the post.
Camaro with a 3 and fouled!
lol, Michael Holton “these last few plays have community center written all over them”, couldn’t sum up POR season so far any better than that
Simons has some good qualities, being a 1v1 go to scorer is definitely not one of them
Ugh, Grant, obviously he is better than this, but if you were a GM asking about Grant and hearing (2) 1st’s needed to acquire him you would laugh your ass off.
Sharpe needs to cut down on the frequency of 3’s he takes until he gets his shot back, focus on mid range and driving downhill to the basket
Big man, 101 never bring the ball down on a rebound, you would think Ayton would know that by now?
I don’t think it’s POR play that has gotten them back into this game, but LAL awful shooting
Ayton with the board and finish If he played like that all the time, he would be a very good center, alas he is just a total enigma as a person and a player & not someone you can count on at all
Just awful defense by Simons there against Dlo. Seriously, at least put up some resistance
Aggressive, drive by Scoot there, gets rewarded with the foul
Holton with some more insight “ if they (POR) could just have some more spacing and shooting, Scoot’s drives could pay dividends”
An obvious comment, but bewildering Cronin doesn’t seem to notice (or care)?
Avdija checks in & hits a 3, you might think they wanna play him more\give him more minutes?
Lol Holton, with another insightful comment about POR players trying to drive into a set defense and what they need to do to manufacture advantages against it.
How does the actual coach of POR not seem to know that?
Man, Deni is such a bull out on the break, able to absorb contact, finish and get the & 1
More bad transition by POR
Good drive by Scoot there, taking contact and then finishing
Scoot with the 3/4 court 3!!!
