I'm still really angry about the Detroit game. To play like that in front of all the past legends and players was embarrassing! We better win tonight and go on to win the Cup to make it up!

playing starting lineup 40 minutes every game is not going to cut it. bench needs more minutes. detroit won because they had fresher legs and less load. i think the knicks would have beat indiana last year if thibs had trusted shake milton and the rest of the bench more. (alec burks). thibs not trusting the bench will be our downfall. if he doesnt like the players, he should tell leon to get the players he wants.

Will always appreciate RJ and IQ as transitionary pieces that helped bring this franchise back to respectability.

With that said, let's smoke these bums

Sounds like KAT is out again so we need to figure out how to play without him. That should start with defense.

Knicks had a 1-5 record last year without Randle, Ihart and Mitch like we are now with Towns out. We'll need my guy Hukporti to step up and average 20 & 15 to give them a chance.

Gradey Dick's shot chart

Gradey Dick's game logs

Last 2 games since coming back, Gradey Dick has jacked up a total of 22 3pt attempts and has shot at a 40.9% clip

We need to force Gradey Dick to go left. If we allow Gradey Dick to shoot from the top of the key or the right elbow, he is going to punish us.

Also, Gradey Dick shoots well from everywhere in the mid range (he's kind of like Mikal Bridges in that regae). Drop coverage might not work at all against Dick. He could drop 30 on us if we let him. And MAYBE WE SHOULD LET HIM!

I say we should let him because The Raptors have lost EVERY SINGLE GAME that Gradey Dick has scored 25 points or more this season. That's 6 losses.

Ochai Agbaji's shot chart

Agbaji is deadly from both corners. However, our drop coverage defense is decide to limit corner three opportunities. Agbaji rarely shoots from the top of the key, and he is weak from the left elbow. He has shot 50% on 14 attempts from the right elbow, so hopefully we don't allow him to get hot from there.

Agbaji has no mid-range game at all. He knocks down corner threes and gets buckets around the hoop. That's it.

RJ Barrett's shot chart last 6 games

RJ is not shooting much at all from mid range. He is getting buckets in the paint. If we allow him to shoot from the top of the key or the left elbow, he'll likely miss. If we let him shoot from the right elbow, he'll knock them down.

Scottie Barnes' shot chart last 6 games

Barnes is opposite from RJ. While RJ shoots well from the right elbow, Barnes is strong from the left elbow. Barnes has some mid range game so he'll punish us from there if he takes advantage of the Knicks' drop coverage.

Also, just so everyone knows. Mikal Bridges is better from mid-range this season than both Barrett and Barnes. Come playoff time when opposing teams use drop coverage on us, Mikal will come in handy.

This is an extremely important game. We need this win...

Losing two in a row looking vulnerable and wounded going into the Hawks contest could send us into a three-game skid.

And then we have the Timberwolves with a Donte Revenge game coming up after that. We need momentum.
