i'm convinced dybantsa is at least 6'9 based on other pics. if Demin is a legit 6'9, he has a chance to be pretty special - i mean, he does anyway, but 6'9" would be nice for him as a PG.

Based on the perspective in the pick above, I'd wager Dybantsa is an inch to 2 inches taller than Demin. I'd love it if Demin measured in at 6'9. I bet he's more like 6'7", though...

i see maybe half an inch difference there. nowhere near 2 inches.

Swivel that camera two feet to the right and the forced perspective would change quite a bit. Based on where their eyebrows are at, you could be correct...but it's really impossible to say. Luckily, it doesn't matter. Both will have good size for their respective positions at the NBA level.

i dunno, we'll see when Demin measures this year, I think AJ is probably .5 inches taller but on a broad level don't see a huge functional difference there but camera angles can be tricky.

Chooses his school tomorrow.

Down to BYU, Alabama, North Carolina with Kansas a distant fourth.

UNC seems to ruin prospects lately, hope he doesn't go there. BYU or Alabama would be my hope.

Ryan Smith is just pumping money into Utah Prep and BYU I assume, probably hoping to get these elite prospects to choose BYU and want to stay with the Jazz, later. We will see if it works, lol. If we trade Lauri in the offseason for picks then we know what the plan is.

This isn’t sustainable. Reminds me of the Miami NIL booster and it turned into a ponzi.

how ryan smith made and makes his money is public knowledge and we know it has nothing to do with ponzi schemes.

Never in my life did I think I would see a school in Utah land the top player in the country. The NIL era is nuts.

I doubt Demin stays, but watching him, Catchings, Staton and Dybanasta play together would be awesome.

Not only that, but Houston landed 3 of the top 20 or so prospects for next year. Big 12 gonna be crazy.

For a nation that emphasizes on privacy and capitalism, yall sure hate seeing people get paid, it’s hilarious. Who cares if it’s a ponzi? You act like this is affecting your pockets

Lebron made it to the finals with that cleveland team.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

they will. i should say plenty of them will. many will stick to their values, but he won't have any trouble finding tail.

athletes, black athletes in particular, are extremely popular with the ladies at byu.

Can’t blame him but my goodness he would’ve been fun here in Nate Oates offense.

It’s true. BYU isn’t as strict with their stuff as they were anyways.

This is excellent news. Next time a Mormon missionary knocks on my door I’ll regale her with the virtues of the prophet Joseph Smith.
