This.

it's too early to say he hit on them but from an assess accumulation phrase, it's promising.

That is fair.
However, considering how the general assumption was the 2024 draft was going to be a total dumpster fire its looking like Masai did a pretty darn good job identifying guys who look NBA-ish with a non-lotto first and three SRPs (+Battle) based on this VERY early assessment around a quarter of the way into the season.

it's also hard to assess given the raps are pretty much a bottom 5 team at the moment.
once the team is a playoff team then have to see who sticks

He easily goes top-3 in a redraft.

I think he's got great potential, and seems to do quite a few things well, he's shown great flashes but I'm always amazed people say things like this.

Like guys Jakobe came into today 33% from the field and 15% from three. Maybe he'll improve so much by the end of the season, or maybe he'll take a jump over the offseason that makes this true, and it's possible it could happen long term but at this point obviously he would not go top 3 in a redraft.

Risacher has shown great flashes as well and is only 19. And I think obviously Jared McCain is going to be right there as well. Dalton Knecht, Yves Missi, Clingan have all been better. Edey looked pretty good. On our own team Mogbo has had some really great performances as well. Jaylen Wells has been great. That's 7 or 8 guys right there.

Carrington and KyShawn have also shown flashes. Sarr has shown several. Buzelis had 20 point game four games back. Fans also seem to think Ajay Mitchell was a steal. Oso seems to be doing alright in Phoenix. Dunn had a decent start, but his 3 ball has fallen back down to earth.

We can probably get a pretty good idea after 3-4 years, not after a singular game.

Devin Carter and DaRon Holmes are also injured, but they have pretty decent high level role player potential.

There will be a lot more games like this.

Imagine what he is going to look like next year after a full camp.

I love watching him play D and slithering around the court to get to his spots.

He uses his speed and length on both sides of the ball.

Ochai’s defense was pretty good today I have to admit. It was key in keeping us close. But I feel Kobe is going to catch up there a bit and he offers way more offensively. Ochai needs to add volume and aggression consistently otherwise I see Kobe passing him in the rotation next season.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

He is one of the most well rounded rookies we have ever had. Especially at SG & especially a 20 y/o one and done.

He has definitely caught my attention. He is probably my favorite young proapect on the team right now. Playing really well on both sides.of the court. Plays hard. Brings good energy on the bench (seems like a good teammate). He has impressed me in interviews too. Seems like he has a good head on his shoulders.

Looks like a player now. If they can work on his decision making he can be the backup PG.

Based off 11 games

Let's pump the brakes a bit, with Scottie going down again we might get to see some extended burn and that will give us a good look. But much like GD last year, it was way too early to call anything.

Hopefully it was just his shoulder giving him issues and affecting his shot, cause his splits even with that banger of a game, are still abysmal.
