Yeah it's his new thing he's trying to run with because Randle is tanking the Wolves. Randle taking them from title contender to play-in contender RJ is on a tanking team that was tanking when they traded for him.

He just put up 30/8/4. Pretty dumb thing to say. Almost as dumb as trading 5 1st rounders plus Kessler and swaps for a role player. The only reason the Raptors lost was because Barnes was injured. Keep those lottery balls coming!

allowing the backside defender to come in and block the second attempt



then drills a 3 in iso

That looked so dangerous though Knicks need to do better on PnR D and not switch so easily so KAT has to try and guard a guard. It was scary I could see RJ easily scoring til OG came back into the play but man..

Im formulating new ideas about our defense. I think I understand what's wrong, but Iv only come up with my newest theory bc ive rejected the idea that we can be a top5 def efficiency team in '22-23 and then be a bottom 10 team in '23-24 just because of kat, when we now run 3 wing defenders who are all good at iso and help. it doesnt make sense.


the gist is,


I think the league has gotten a lot better at bbiq. you even saw it this game. rj knew on dribble drive he wants the ball swing from strong to weak side corner 3. every team is hunting it, including us.

because we play the same scheme as last year. ihart played drop too for like 95% of the time.

thibs hasn't changed his scheme fast enough with the league to account for why our defense is so much worse now. thats my conclusion rn.

Hart isn’t that great of a defender, he often gets abused, that leaves him, KAT, and Brunson who are below average defenders. Sub in Precious and watch how quick the defense changes
