Don't like how close the game was. But all in all...a win is a win. Knicks were toying with them until crunch time.....I hope.

Either way going to have to be a LOT sharper to beat the Hawks. No monkeying around for 3 quarters.

we did...it also didn't solve the 4th qtr narrative since it was very discombobulated and we were playing a really bad team without there best player which helped.

Happy they got the job done. This game was tied under a minute to go. That shouldn't have been the case.

Need to clean up things. free throws and turnovers and I still stand by the minutes distribution needs to be adj.

Well in this game we got thumped in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. I wouldn’t say it’s thoroughly debunked yet but it’s certainly been a talking point so it deserves to be pointed out when we have a great 4th. 30-22 is a pretty solid closeout. Not sure what the deal was with the free throws but I guess those numbers were bound to come down via the law of averages at some point. Thankfully didn’t cost us this time.

He seems automatic from 3. It's pretty awesome we can go to him to bail us out on some 3s when we can't create offense

KAT loves being in NYC

I think he had such roots in Minny that it was a shock to leave there, but there's no doubt he vibes off being in Orange & Blue

Pretty much every knock against him has been false. He is not soft. Guy is leading the league in rebounding. Softies don't do that. And he's not a classic 5 defender, but he actually plays man defense.

I think of him as one of the best shooting PFs I've ever seen. He's not really a center. From that perspective, I think he's legit a great player.

Our roster needs another defender for the paint and that's not a knock on KAT.

HerSports brought up a crazy notion that we should play players to their strengths. What a wacky idea!

Anyway, I think as long as we see KAT for what he really is, a supremely gifted scoring PF, and use him that way, we'll be more than pleased with his role on the team. He's 7 feet tall, but he's really a PF. Tim Duncan had the great fortune to play next to the Admiral. If he hadn't he'd have been called a center, but instead he is remembered as one of the all-time great PFs. That's how I see KAT. We just need a legit defensive C next to him.

The defense was atrocious in the first half, they were constantly sinking down to protect the paint, there's a play where all 5 Knicks were in the paint to stop a Scottie Barnes drive that KAT had already contained and left 2 shooters open. I'll post some GIFs of these first half threes tomorrow, they are a joke, but they did a better job in the second half of not collapsing on drives.

In the second half they held the Raptors to 4 total threes after giving up 9 in the first half, the DRTG in the first half was 124.5 and 95.9 in the second half. You force teams to take 2 point shots, 3s will kill you.

After he made the 4 point play he has two bad plays. But he got the ball to KAT and had another big bucket. He ain’t perfect but he knows how to win and has the guts and smarts to get there.
