Figure out how to trade Jimmy for Jalen Green and filler and the Rockets have a contending roster

I don't think his contract extension makes that possible

Jalen Green cannot be traded this year because he signed an extension.

Edit: Poison Pill contract. Basically impossible to make the numbers work.

Green doesn't make sense when there's Herro.

I have to guess Rockets have no interest. Maybe GSW would.

too bad, sucks for the Rockets. Butler would be a great fit and they need to find some way to get rid of Green because he's dead weight to an otherwise great roster

No they don't. Butler is a part-time player in the regular season and OLD.

Well it's a good thing that regular season games don't count in the playoffs lol

Did Butler play in the playoffs last year?

What would last years playoffs have to do with Butler on the Rockets this year?

What are you even trying to argue?

Dallas doesnt have 48 mill in salary to trade without gutting the team (PJ would have to go out too). It wouldnt make them better and its difficult to make a 4 for 1 trade midseason. Dubs with Wiggins+Melton's contract should be able to do it without gutting their roster though

You couldn't even answer my question. He was hurt last year in the playoffs. Talked all that **** and didn't even suit up. He's a year older and worse. You want Houston to gut their team for an aging narcissist because you don't like Jalen Green. Houston is not putting up with Butler antics when they don't have to. Udoka wouldn't ever go for it because he's uncontrollable.

Does that answer your question?

Well Jalen Green sucks. So trading him for anyone is addition by subtraction. I've gone blue in the face trying to tell this forum how bad he was for the last 4 years but it's getting hard to deny at this point. Trade the guy to a tanking team and let him put up a billion shots because that's the only thing he can do. The dude has a -13 net rating this year so far but you've got a few delusional people left still excited cause he can score 20ppg. Gotten worse each season of his career.

What are Butler's antics that you referenced that are so uncontrollable?

So, he was injured last year, meaning he'll be injured every year.

Got it!

He can be traded, it's just with his rookie extension his contract is a "Poison Pill" for the receiving team.
