Very impressive tape. He’s listed at 6’6 but his wingspan makes him a 6’8 savvy SG. I need to see more games, but I’m leaning towards taking him over Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper.

Yes he was. I think his main things have been peripheral skills he needs to add. Tighter handle, more physicality, just improving court awareness etc. I had him 8-12 before the season, but he is definitely a guy that might rise (I'm thinking about swapping where I have he and Hugo Gonzales).

I'll be interested in seeing Johnson's consistency against good competition. He has a really, really inconsistent handle, can even see it vs. Houston Christian.

I'm not buying 6'6". He looks like a 6'4" Cam Thomas on offense but with higher BBIQ and ability and willingness to pass. Top 5-10 lock but maybe could go higher

I have watched him a couple of times including the UConn game. Very impressed. He can create his own shot consistently and has shown some playmaker as well. Good effort on D.

As a wizards fan I would definitely take him top 5.

I've been going through trying to find a comp and Houston is actually one I was thinking of lol (but it's not me). I think Tre plays with more intensity and less physicality, though (but is also quicker). JR Smith with less athleticism is another, he was really talented, had poor shot selection, but made tough ones. I think that is a nice floor? I'm still workshopping it Young Ray Allen also has some similar aesthetic qualities in his game.

Me too. Hes upright. Not a lot of wiggle or shiftiness in his game.

But his real weakness is his jumper. The only way he can score effectively is at the rim. There are only two good first option bigs in the NBA I can think of without an effective jumper, giannis and Zion.

Zion as a freshman at Duke averaged 22 PPG with 70% TS. Flagg is averaging 17 with a TS of 52%. Pretty big gap there.

He’s 17. He will be fine. Ultra competitive and strong work ethic.

I like that he is turning it over by pushing his limits. It’s not IQ TO’s. It’s aggressive playmaking TO’s.

Flagg is way more fluid that Gordon. In a fast paced offense where Flagg is down hill a lot he’d flourish and shine as a 1.
