I was not the least bit surprised with your selection.

How much better do people think MVP Embiid was compared to his other high level seasons? My instinct is to go with him, but 20-21 at only 17.6 FGA is tempting

I usually go with 2021. I don't see a real difference here to justify the extra FGA

I knew I wasn’t getting Horford but I had some hope for BroLo after DB didn’t take him.

I like my team. Really going to grind people in half court defense and look to run run run

Got the
League leader in assists
Leage leader in steals
League leader in blocks
League leader in rebounds.
hyper efficient scorers in Ant, Hill, Malone and Stockton

I would have went Grant Hill in the 3rd but spacing. You're starters don't really space either. It's a good pick, but the fit is iffy.

Spacing is overrated

Edwards can shoot a three, stockton can shoot them, malone is elite from midrange out to long twos wallace is fine in the dunkers spot and hill has a great midrange jumper as well.

I agree that it is, but I always get dinged for it in write ups, if you don't have like 5 40% high volume 3 point shooters on your roster.

“Spacing is overrated” is a wild take I’m surprised to see so prominent among folks who have engaged with the last decade of NBA basketball. Not just singling out LR and Ness here, I’m speaking broadly. Great three point shooting has been a prominent feature in virtually every successful team in this time period. It’s particularly crazy to see from a modern Celtics fan given how they just won their ring (okay, now I’m singling out LR a little bit).

I thought Stock/Malone/ANT was essentially a perfect start. Those last two picks were great talent grabs but there is a sacrifice in terms of fit that is real and not just perceived IMO. Doesn’t make those the wrong picks- maybe the perfect fits weren’t available.
