Must be true, if it's a rumor you read on Hoopshype.

He should do well & is only asking for something like 3 years 30 million which in today's market is a value.

Foo-Koo-Dough-May

He'll never be a star but he plays good defense and should be an OBP machine.

Great OBP, decent power (20-25 HR's in an average park). Good defense and can handle CF if asked to.

Perfect for the Cubs. We need more guys who get on base often. He'd be awesome hittng 2nd or us and covering CF a couple times a week if they don't want Pie playing every game.

He's really the Cubs only free agent target, so I imagine we'll outbid any other team for him. Just depends on if he'd take less to go on the West coast. The Padres are the other big suitor, but his stats would take a hit in Petco.

He is going to go to the Cubs it's just a matter of who much will we spend on him.

100% accurate. Cross between Hideki Matsui and Ichiro, but less power and less speed. He is a good fielder with a strong arm. He is also known for his extremely high OBP. An upgrade of Jacque Jones, the Achilles heel of the Tigers now.

I'll say Royals to be a homer. But they do want to sign him according to sources.
