Which part? 3 assists, 3 turnovers, -14, 62.5% fts, 0/0 from 3…I didn’t see the game, but that’s a tough line to get excited about.

AB was an important player for the Magic tonight. He played a solid game. He is 20 and will continue to clean things up. Valuable experience minutes tonight.

It looked like he had a couple of shots rim out in the second half last night. I'm glad he played more aggressive.

He played well, but did have some lapses. I think these are good reps for him where we need him to be more of a table-setter and ball-handler than we've been asking of him to this point.

Black played very well last night. He will have his ups and downs but he is progressing really well.

I think we will see a jump in AB year 3 similar to Suggs trajectory. PGs take longer time to find their game in the NBA.

Zero 3pts made in the past 8 games. Is he taking pages from Fultz book?

Otherwise yesterday he didnt shy away from responsibility.

Usually 20 year olds don't play winning ball. Reed Sheppard is only 5 months younger than AB and averages 3.8 ppg.

I do think Sheppard will be good, too, but we need to take age into consideration when evaluating players.

Being aggressive and keeping his dribble have been a problem for AB. They need to coax it out of AB because it's not his nature to be aggressive.

Long time watcher of games, new poster, I just want to say I think AB's upside is massive. Have to remember he's 20 years old.

Last year I thought he would be an Iguodala type player, secondary playmaker, great defender. Really good role player. But now I really think he does have special passing vision and could be a special lead guard some day. The handle isn't there yet, but the improvements in one year have been big. Point guards take time. Gotta be patient.

Reed Sheppard was supposed to be the fav for Rookie of the year? lol

I just wish AB keeps progressing especially now with Franz also out. Come into the game and make a big impact. And because of that, I hope he is chosen in the rookie-sophomore game or whatever that is called

Pick and roll with Wendell Carter

Screen, roll dish out

Pick n roll - created shot

Slashed - created shot, drew contact

Mose needs to get into Blacks ear and say that he needs to shoot 10 FTA a game and 2-4 3PTA.

He has so much potential, he just needs to bring it together and yes, continue working on his 3pt shot.

He is one of those players, that if he makes the same kinda jump in terms of role from Rookie, to sophmore, and then in JR season. One can argue he should be starting by game 1 next season.

I would be shocked if he doesn’t start next season. I feel next year might be a breakout year for him.

He could start for sure next season. I think they keep Suggs and KCP starters for one more season. We have time to develop AB and add responsibility as he takes steps in confidence.

AB is top 4 player in importance on Magic.

The SGA comps are getting louder. Wild that SGA is one of the best comps for AB looking at college stats.

So is it his personality or skill that holds him back at the moment?

Define "holds him back". I don't think anything is holding him back, he's developing at a very good pace imo

What? SGA Comps? Where did that come from?
