That guy had a 48% 2 point percentage and was shooting 39% from 3-10 feet![]()
He’s in the 60s this year because he’s playing a role he’s more suited for. Less ball handling and more getting to his spots off ball. Hes not someone you give the ball to for creating offense, he’s a guy you want getting to his spots off the ball. Yes it’s Mikal

He dropped a ball on him and walked off, he came out the next half and went 3-10. What Nerlens and Solomon did were tough, what Randle did is what losers do when things don't go their way.
Nah, he wasn’t dodging smoke from anyone like this team does.
We lost that game, we lost that series.

We lost that game, we lost that series.
And we lost last night letting Trae young be untouched

Only person that touched him was Nerlens, the former Knick just dropped a ball and left, that was a Drake move.

I mean, he keeps admitting he's just trolling, so yeah.
I have two young kids and I don't know if I've seen as big a tantrum as the reaction to that trade. It's embarrassing.

How long do we have to put up with it outside of the around the league thread?

Idk maybe when you guys stop posting about him in every thread and instigating

He's a worse player with us than he was with the Nets, that's not Tom's fault.
He was in the 81st percentile as a PnR ball handler with the Nets, yes just go stand in the corner and be efficient and worse now under Tom. He is at .94ppp as PnR ball handler this year, nobody is saying he's Luka, but give him more chances on the ball. Nope, not Tom's fault for extracting less from him than Jacque Vaughn
Bro just spare me all the jumping through hoops, nothing is Thibs fault to you, I get it.

I think so too. If teams are killing us on the boards, Josh Hart can't be our only weakside rebounding option. Thibs needs to find a unit he trusts when big teams get physical and the players stop winning loose ball battles.
RHODEY wrote:We need to also need to address the Mitch Situation. I'm hearing now it won't be till late January or February for him to return. Can we afford to wait that long?
And if we decide to make a trade can we even expect to get a Kessler type outside of Kessler? Is such a player even available on the open Market? Can we afford that player? Because if not I'm not sure we wil have what it takes to consider ourselves a threat to team like Boston or OKC. We have fits now with this young athelic , big teams like the Rockets and Hawks...
One of the authors for KFTV is taking trade suggestions, so I've been in trade machines trying to find deals that would make sense for the Knicks AND the other squad. But with the limitations of first/second aprons on teams, I haven't found a damned thing that I like. We have a really slim amount of wiggle room to make things work barring some Brock Aller magic.
Also: If anyone has trade ideas, my recap for today ends with a submission link. So you can submit your ideas to Jalen, and he may include you in the article. I ran a OG trade scenario last season

Starters
TOWNS
PRECIOUS
OG
MCcullar
Brunson
Bench
Hart
Bridges
Deuce
Payne
Mitch
That squad would fix our starting lineup's height, athleticism, motor, and softness issues.
...while simultaneously making our bench elite again. It all depends on MCcullar and our stubborn azzed coach.
I hate that we have to rely on an injured rookie who hasn't had summer camp or preseason to prepare. Mccullar is an elder-rook, so hopefully he adjusts quickly...and he really only needs to buy the squad 10-15 mpg so Mikal and OG can get a little more rest without the backcourt going 6 ft or less like a bad D'antoni idea.
But it feels too risky. I wish we could just add one more lengthy wing that can play physically. I wish we had a convincing package for Herb Jones.

The main issue comes from the loss of iHart and Mitch.
Mikal doesn't make up for the loss of either defensively even as we transitioned to a more perimeter-based defense. This isn't even an anti-Mikal stance - he's played fine over the last few weeks (though never worth the draft capital he cost).
If Mikal played like Caruso on defense, then it would significantly mitigate the loss of rim protection and stabilize the defense even as we transition to a more perimeter-heavy defense to keep our lack of rim protection from being exposed.
But Mikal isn't Caruso. And we can't expect him to be. He can't make up for the loss of defensive impact that Mitch and iHart provided, despite his reputation as a rangy defender.
In any case, the Hawks are a decent team. Losing against them isn't great, but it's not as damning as losing to Detroit. We should be winning those games though, but I don't think this loss was cause for panic.
