Carter and Craig are both solid role players who barely get off the bench for the Bulls and as the play in looks farther away shouldn't take minutes from any of the younger guys. Nnaji comes into that mix and the guy who shows the least can be tradable.
Randle isn't a building block for the future, I doubt he wants to go to a losing team. Smith is a better piece for the Bulls even if the numbers don't match up. I'd actuallu prefer to keep Lonzo with the idea of resigning him as a good guy going forward
I agree on both points.
IMO, Randle, if moved, would be moved as a bad contract/fit. He's a ball dominant, non-playmaking PF who isn't a good 3pt shooter. Thats hard for most teams who have non-3pt shooting C's. The Knicks seemed better without him last year...ironically, it was Donte who really stepped up into a bigger role for them (and was part of the trade to Minny).
I might take Randle if we got rid of Zach in the deal (Randle's deal is a year shorter), AND we got Donte. That said, since MIN IIRC is over the 2nd apron, they can't do 2 for 1 deals.
