You can argue this deal improves both teams who's scoring on a AD/Mobley frontcourt besides Jokic?

That's a killer deal for LA.

Mobley wouldnt be in the deal. He certainly wouldnt be in the deal with 1sts on top

Take the 1st out it's LeBron at the end of the day. I think a deal can get done.

Love Mobley but he ain't no LeBron.

Lebron is 40 years old. His team has been worse with him on the court than off, by a lot.

You guys are delusional.

You get what, another 6 months of Lebron as a star level player? Unless this puts them over the top and makes them huge favs (it doesnt), it's an all in deal in the short term for a player who looks as bad as he's ever looked.
LeBron makes them the favorites imo. It's basically swapping LeBron for Mobley. A top 15 player for a top 40 player. Easy decision.

After the LAL FO bending over the side of the casting couch for LBJ the past few years it would be abominable if he demanded a trade and left them in the lurch.

Lebron is not currently playing like a top 15 player. Top 15 players dont have negative on/off splits with their team

Take out all firsts and include two seconds and a swap and I think it gets done. Lebron will put CLE over the top. They have 2 years of dominating the East. I think they would do it.

Lebron has been one of the worst defensive players in the league this season, and he doesn’t make Cleveland meaningfully better on offense.

They are not trading their best young player in Mobley to become a worse team right now.

So it's either Cleveland or stay in LA for LeBron.

He finishes his career where it started. That's the only way this ends for LeBron. Keep in mind he's got camera men behind the scenes for his Last Dance documentary. It only makes sense for him to go back home and end his career.

Thoughts?

I don't think he cares about winning a championship. I'll rephrase it - he would rather stay in LA and not winning a championship vs having a shot at another championship. His son is a senior in HS, his daughter is 10, Savannah has her stuff. I don't see it bro.

I don't think there's a reasonable trade to make for LeBron that actually makes the Cavs better this year. LeBron's motor is just too diminished at this point. If it were last year's LeBron and we were smart enough to keep him down to 32-33mpg it might work but not with this LeBron and it wouldn't be for Mobley.

Even if LeBron is unhappy and wants out. Has he ever demanded a trade before and not played out his contract? He staying.

I think Cavs makes sense.

Mitchell and Niang or Garland and Niang
For
LeBron and Bronny

Mitchell is off the table in any trade.

Garland is interesting. I guess it depends on who Cleveland feels would be a better fit with LeBron.

Have to think that Mitchell, Okoro, LeBron, Mobley, Allen -- Jerome, Merrill, LeVert, Wade makes them a legit championship contender.

You really think you could get Mitchell for Lebron at this point?

I honestly don't see it maybe if he was bought out. The Cavs could offer Struss, Levert, Tyson, and Niang maybe throw in a first.

Have Lebron at PF and Okoro and Wade as the two main guys off the bench. The issue is Garland was unhappy last year with Mitchell taking all the shotclock. Things are going well for the Cavs I am not sure why they would want to add a 40 year old Lebron into the mix even though doing so allows them to add more shooting and stagger Allen and Mobley. Also Garland is the flatout better player right now and he is still just 24 you aren't getting him for Lebron at this point either.

Got ran out of Miami by the Spurs

Got ran out of Cleveland by the Warriors

Gonna get ran out of the Western Conference by the Western Conference.

No matter his age, his best work is done in the Eastern Conference where the competition is slim / inexperienced

His age definitely matters if you are the Cavs right now you have a multi year window with Garland, Mitchell, and Mobley.

You aren't trading that for one year of Lebron even if he made you better and it's not clear that he would. All three guys should be off the table.

Lol! Not trading a possible 10 years of Mobley for 2 years of Lebron at this stage of his career... If I DID move 1 of the core 4 for Lebron, it would be Mitchell, but we're too far in on him now anyway. Lebron can come back to the Cavs as a free-agent/buyout if he wants to finish with the Cavs.

It makes sense only if the goal is to wreck the Cavs future to take on a way over the hill LeBron who probably can't be a two way player even if we limit him to 30mpg and he saves himself for the playoffs. Zero interest in giving up any of the big 4 for him.

Why is every Lakers fan that trade offer meme guy?

The Cavs are 21-4. They’re not trading away their best player to become the LeBron James traveling circus.
