Is the Warrior FO just very eager to talk to the media, or do Warrior rumors really drive clicks?

The team is in an awful lot of very public trade rumors while making very few deals.

Do teams around the league not realize Kuminga is complete garbage? Or are the Warriors targeting someone else with Kuminga as the main trade chip and are using this to try to raise his value?

Wow. The Nets really wanted to stop winning. They could definitely have gotten more at the trade deadline, but I guess by then they would have too many Ws.

So Schroder is having an outstanding bounceback season. I'll never understand how guys like this, Darren Collison before etc middle on teams and people assume they just suck now, then they blow up when put in a better or more expanded role. GS is getting a huge talent upgrade for not much going out. 2nd round picks don't matter for a team going for one last ring.

I am concerned about the fit though. Part of why he has been killing it in Brooklyn is he's at his highest shot attempts (per possession and overall) and usage in 5 seasons. Will he get the same opportunity in GS?

Pretty sure everyone knows, but he’s also still very young. I think he could thrive with a certain team down in South Beach, eventually.

Teams mostly know Kuminga is garbage. You have to remember, the reporters have relationships with the agents and teams that influence how the news is framed. If they don't go along, they won't get priority when they're deciding who to feed the story to.

As such, they have to mention Kuminga like he's an asset, even if it was the Warriors trying to include him and the Nets who were lukewarm.

At least the Nets got more value out of Schroder than the Raptors who just gave him away for free lol.
