I have a hard time seeing them trading Jimmy if they didn’t feel very confident someone like Fox was coming

Not holding my breath.

Better odds that the next alpha in Mia will come about via the draft.

And although I like Fox, he’s no alpha; more like a second option.

Marc Stein is Cuban's lackey. He's just piggybacking on everything. Are the Heat possibly listening to offers on Butler sure. Do I think the Heat are going to be offered anything substantial to make a move... No. I believe these teams that are interested in him are going to continue to be pressing this issue in the media in order to try and get the Heat to fold and sell him on the cheap. The Heat are not going to do this. Butler has a few options. 1. Opt in for one more year at 50 million. 2. Use the Nets as leverage in the offseason since they are the only team with significant cap space to sign him but do they really want to do that? 3. Signs 4 year cap friendly deal with us that keeps him here into his age 39/40 season and retires in Heat jersey 4. Get under the first apron and do a S&T possibly scooping up some assets. Unless the relationship is strained beyond repair which considering Butler's agent coming out doing damage control and Jimmy... well you know if Jimmy really wanted out he's not going to be holding back no punches I think in the end he truly wants to retire here and both sides meet in the middle to make it happen.

Sure on Fox but you Eve extended your window to a 7-8 year window to add the right pieces.

Guarantee we don’t draft better than Bam any time soon

Melton and a 1st for Schroder looks to be what’s about to go down.

God dammit. Every time he shows something, some form of injury happens. Sucks.

Hopefully it’s not a serious one.

I’m not a Schroder believer, so I’m ambivalent about this one. He’s not the move for us IMO.

Wow lol

Golden State holds onto there first for another move and it’s not going to be Jimmy. Probably Vucevic next.

I mean that’s a fairly cheap upgrade. Good business by the Dubs. I still wouldn’t have liked his fit here though.

We need either a truly elite PG, or a 3&D. Schroder is neither IMO.

Would have liked to have seen him as a throw in with DFS due to our matching contracts but now it makes a deal for DFS very unlikely.

My number one move has always been Collins.

Mia needs to seek out a high iq player who can effortlessly assimilate regardless of the position

If Lonzo could stay healthy, he’d qualify.

So warriors get a good PG for a torn acl Melton and essentially 2 second rounders. That’s how you do business as a good front office

Return to Miami Heat
