Drop Matt Ryan already. Wasting a roster spot and we should call up Warren.

it’s time to admit sunk cost
The problem isn’t Mikal Bridges, the problem is Mikal Bridges playing way too many minutes. We need him to be a defense threat and he’s not playing 38-39 mpg.
Reduce his minutes and I’m sure we will get better production from him.
Call up TJ Warren and he can solve a few of our problems because we can plug him in for 6-12 mpg giving a few minute break to some of our players and he can play 3 positions.
Maybe there is somebody in the g league who is young and athletic who can give us some energy too idk not really following the g league like that.
Also Mikal needs to take smarter shots. That’s also in the coach.
Also the coach is trash get a new one.

Re: Trades and Transactions Thread - Preseason and Beyond
Best player in the G league right now is JD Davison. He's averaging 27.3 ppg (on 46.7% from the field), 8.8 apg, 5.0 rpg, 1.5 spg, 1.3 bpg. He's a guard that plays for the Celtics G-League team. He was arguably the most physically gifted player of his HS draft class, spent one year in college and then entered the draft. He's listed as just 6'3" but plays bigger. Big, strong and athletic (1.3 blocks per game for a 6'3" player is pretty impressive). Not a shooter though.

Rich are richer than you think.
He is on a 2way with Celtics.

With these parts, Knicks would get outbid for Herb Jones. Nick Richards could be a possibility though

Day'Ron Sharpe is another big who's kind of being wasted where he's at.
Contract situations are tough.

I agree but, He is batting zero with Ainge. Hopefully he can break that streak and not get fleeced. Ainge HATES the Knicks though with a passion. I don't have the confidence it happens but, I trust Leon more than any GM we have had in 30 years,

Contract situations? He is on. 3.9mil team option. Sims/Huk 2RPs should get it done. I don't know much about Sharpe though. Is he what we need? His career stats say no. Maybe we turn him into a stud?

Matching contracts is just a nightmare in the new CBA. Pretty sure you can't just combine contracts like that anymore.
Look at his per 36/PER. He's always been a backup, similar to iHart in LA, because they have Claxton in front of him but he produces in his minutes and he's an excellent rebounder. He's never had a chance for an expanded role but he does a lot of things Thibs likes. Not just a rim runner with a little range and he can do more passing than he's been allowed.

We can still aggregate salaries if they don't put us over the apron. That's my understanding. Maybe I am wrong. I am pretty sure we can find a way to get Sharpe if we want him. Aller is a genius!
He sounds like a real solid option. We need exactly that. A player like Shart not getting enough burn on his current team. He also has to fit in our price range. I trust Leon and I hope he gets us someone sooner than later. Waiting on Mitch is tremendous risk that could backfire immediately. We need to start winning more consistently and our bench/defense are killing us. Thibs limitations are on full display this year.
