Celtics have won 10 of 11 matchups with an average point differential of 15.45 ppg.

Keep sitting Tatum. The 11-day rest would do his knee some good. We don't need him for this. Whoever will benefit from rest should rest.

I Agree. I think that he should sit for a bit. Get healthy.
The Season is a long one. Then the Playoffs are 2 more months.

That's what's best, but from JT's track record of wanting to play all the time, no way he sits again in this game.

I'm loving The NBA Cup for this sole reason. It's like another All-Star Break where players on teams who don't advance have an opportunity to reset their bodies.

C's schedule has been kind these first two or so months. Next 7 games after are cupcakes too -- CHI twice, ORL w/o their stars, PHI lol, IND twice, and TOR. Pile up the wins 'cos what comes after until trade deadline is a grind including two West trips.

I think that Tatum sits one more Game. It's 4 days after that, until the next Game (Dec. 19).

These Seasons nowadays are a serious Grind. Teams have Bigger & Better players.

Apart from Horford, Celtics two-ways and Scheierman are listed as OUT.

Bey, George, Brogdon, Vukcevic, Kuzma, and Kispert all OUT for the Wizards.

One would wish. If they're trading him, at least try and raise his value a bit. Not gonna happen on the bench or playing in garbage time. They should've sat Holiday and Tatum too. Let Walsh and Springer get some real PT.

Celtics are just being true professionals.

Fans are not wrong for wanting JT to sit, but this is the Celtics taking every game seriously.

Number of games Celtics top 8 have played together: 1/25. Make it 1/26 as Horford sits for this one.

All of the Celtics five losses are by single digit (by 6 pts or less).
All of the Wizards 20 losses are by double digits except one (by 9 pts).

It's the league's best offense vs. the league's worst offense. Something has got to give!!
