Never doubt Leon rose Jb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree but, He is batting zero with Ainge. Hopefully he can break that streak and not get fleeced. Ainge HATES the Knicks though with a passion. I don't have the confidence it happens but, I trust Leon more than any GM we have had in 30 years,

Not a chance the Knicks make any deal with Ainge the picks hoarder.

I would agree but, Leon has broken down barriers none of us thought were possible. Long shot but, never say never. I think Richards is more likely.

I think may have some regret with what he paid for Bridges, that's going to impact his ability to make some trades especially with a guy like Ainge.

Definitely an over pay picks wise. It is the one issue I have with his decisions this summer. Could have kept at least 2 picks but, I also don't think they knew Shart was leaving and Mitch would miss half the season. Oops.

We don't need some massive trade though. We need our bench healthy and another rim protector in case Mitch breaks again. Which is not really if but when. Leon has been working magic for a while now. Maybe he pulls it off again.

I agree and i think alot of fans think the same way. We dont know if the nova guys requested Mikal be traded to the team, but the FO perhaps hoping that if Mikal doesnt look the part, that Jalen and Josh would fix him up. Lets see what happens towards the end of the season

Why does everything think Leon is some trade master. He overpays for everyone.

Call a spade a spade, 12 months ago if I told you we traded RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickey, Quentin Grimes, 4 unprotected 1st rd picks, the MIL 1st, an unprotected pick swap and 2 2nds in the mid 30’s range and the return was Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby on a max contract, you would have asked if Isiah Thomas returned.

Leon got extremely lucky with Brunson turning into a top 10 level player. Other than that, his tenure has been very mediocre.

I feel like fair value for Bridges would have been one of our 2024 picks, the better of NYK/MIL 2025, and NYK's 2027 1st top-10 protected rolling to unprotected. If you threw in some combination of a 2nd pick in 2024, a second pick in 2025, the DET pick or making the 27 pick unprotected it would have been managable.

I still can't over we went from having an offer of RJ Barrett and 2 future picks on the table for Donnovan Mitchell (a significantly better player than Bridges) and we held firm on not being willing to include Quentin Grimes and/or another unprotected 1st. So at worst we had Barrett, Grimes and 3 1's for Mitchell. But then we folded and gave up double for Bridges. Isiah Thomas style.

Pelicans have no interest in fielding offers for Herbert Jones despite the team’s disastrous 5-20 start. Jones is the team’s best perimeter defender and is under contract through the 2026/27 season.

Ok. It was an overpay and you know what we could or could not have done with Mitchell because you were there. Ainge was just as likely to be driving the price up and was never gonna trade us Donovan for the package you assume we could have sent them. We also probably don't have OG either. Woulda shoulda coulda. They got three unprotected picks for Mitchell along with Lauri/Sexton/Agbaji. Much better package than what you think we could have sent them.

It was on overpay for Mikal and that's where I'll leave it. You just gave up 3 first instead of 5. So we agree on the overpay. I don't like it either but, it's over now.

Time to figure out how to fill out the bench. We need another rim protector and I would prefer a better player than Payne in his role or, maybe another wing because Thibs won't play our rookie. We will have issues doing that because we gave up 2 extra picks for Mikal and that sucks.

If you want depth, it starts with what 2 for 1 trades can you get for Bridges or Anunoby. The roster construction is so limiting and the talent they went all-in on isn't top tier talent.

And frankly I have no confidence in Leon making a trade, he always gives up 200 cents on the dollar.
