He obviously bet on himself while we were betting on him. People say we should have offered him more years but, was he willing to do that? I don't know. The results seem more likely that he was waiting to get healthy and get paid. The timing sucked for us but, we are the team that revived his career. He got healthy here and jetted the first chance he had.

Maybe he didn't want to play for Thibs in the role Thibs was using him in. He said he wanted a bigger role and he wanted to win. He would be winning here but, apparently the role wasn't what he wanted to do. The HC didn't win him over enough to stay and take a chance getting hurt again playing too many minutes like he did the entire time he was here.

You should blame OG for demanding the max and not follow Brunson's example to be able to keep the core. He single handedly cost this team to be able to offer the same offer as OKC had made to steal him away.

No. This is false. We offered him the most we could because we didn't have his full bird rights. We couldn't offer him one cent more. OKC came in and basically doubled what we offered and he took it and ran. It has nothing to do with anyone else getting paid. We offered 17.5 and that's the max we could offer. OKC offered him 30 and he ran outta here,
